BIOPSY

Post by RICHARDGUADAN »

HAVE HAD PROSTATITIS SYMPTOMS FOR 18 MO. I HAD PSA AT 5.6 LAST YEAR AND HAD A BIOPSY WHICH WAS NEGATIVE. THIS YEAR PSA THE SAME AND SYMPTOMS PERSIST. HAD ANOTHER BIOPSY. HAD 12 CORES WITH ONE INCONCLUSIVE. URO WANT TO DO ANOTHER BIOPSY WITH 12 MORE SAMPLES. DOES THIS SOUND REASONABLE? DO I NEED TO DO BIOPSY EVERY YEAR WITH ELEVATED PSA DUE TO PROSTATITIS? FRUSTRATED TO SAY THE LEAST.

It's a little unusual to develop pelvic pain symptoms for the first time at your age. I think the uro is right in being very cautious. Have the biopsy taken and that will put your mind at ease.

Abscess...

Post by jonestpauper »

Another trip to the Doctor's Office for scheduled Biopsy. Dr. finds abscess
on my prostate.
Could this be the answer I've been searching for all this time(5yrs)?
I really hope so.
We will see after it is removed.
Awaiting The Cure!

Abscess will do it! But if it's simply a utricle, maybe not.
