High Temperature?

Post by BG0013 »

Hey everyone.. Since I've had prostatitis, I've always had a higher body temp.. I even sleep with the air conditioner on low sometimes in the winter. This this normal?
Age 21.. | Symptoms: Extreme discomfort in bladder, and lower abdomen.. To the point that I can't sit still, and sleep, can't do anything.. The only that will help is getting into the bath... Urinary frequency, Urinary hesitancy, sometimes taking a few minutes to get just a little bit out.. Sometimes lower back pain when I lay down at night.. Never have the golf ball feeling everybody talks about, and never have a problem sitting down.. Helps: Hot baths, Xanax (but makes me extremely tired), stretching (it seems like only sometimes), pain killers (ex: Percocet, but if I take them, they end up making me worse the next days following, probably due to the urinary retention they cause).. Makes worse: Stress is the main main thing, caffeine and spicy foods too, but not really a whole whole lot.. only a moderate amount..

If your immune system is activated, through infection, autoimmunity or even stress, you may experience mild feverishness. People with CFS, thought to be at least partly caused by stress/anxiety putting the immune system into overdrive, often experience this. CFS and chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome are associated.

In the mid-1700s, Sir Richard Manningham, an English physician, described an illness resembling CFS and called it "Little Fever" or "Febricula".

According to the CFS Research Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA, some of the symptoms of CFS include "mild fever, recurrent sore throat, painful lymph nodes, muscle weakness and pain, prolonged fatigue after exercise, recurrent headache, painful joints, neuropsychological complaints and sleep disturbances".
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

I had two outbreaks of high fevers since prostatitis diagnosis, which never really happened to me before in my life. I've always been stricken down with sinus/throat (strep) infections/viruses, not whole body, chilly type flu things.

At first I thought they might be connected, but now I think they must have been separate since I redid the whole urinalysis thing and negatory. :x

It can't be very healthy for you to be feverish all the time though.
Age:23 | Onset Age:22 | Symptoms:Urinary hesitancy, moderate frequency, urgency and retention, slight perinneum, rectal and leg pain, frequent abdominal/bladder pain. Red/white spotty irritation on penis | Helped By:hot baths or showers, walking and moving around, pain medications | Worsened By: sitting for a long time, holding urine too long. I'd say I'm about 75% better naturally so far.
