ICE
I've recently been experimenting with a gel-ice pack on my abdomen. It FEELS like it's helping, soothing, maybe calming inflammation but that might just be my usual self-delusion kicking in. Does anyone have any views on this?

My PT recommended this (alternating heat and cold), but I never really did the cold part (I did baths and heating pads because they were easier). He seemed to think it would help. He also recommended it in the perineal area too.
This is NOT medical advice. I am NOT a doctor.
