Anyone heard of Pycnogenol?

Post by jd »

I've been reading about this, Pycnogenol is extracted from Pine Trees in France and is supposed to contain bioflavanoids that have very powerful antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties.

If you go into the research section on that site, I guess someone did a study of it relating to the auto-immune component of Lupis, pretty interesting.

I wonder if there would be any relevance to this for CPPS/IC?

Here's some people from Cal-Berkeley discussing it, this is 5+ years old.

Well - I have been using Grape Seed Extract as part of my protocol for a while - and it is very much like Pycnogenol (both are OPCs).

I find it as valuable as quercitan.

Any others have luck with anything like this?
