Cost of the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol?

Post by bbdave »

I've spoken with Dr. Wise, and bought the book, 3rd edition, but haven't read it yet.

Can someone give me an idea about what they charge for their workshop?

thanks.

8 months ago, he quoted me around $3000. I couldn't afford it, so I chose to use a recommended PT instead. I spent $1500, but it was spread out over 4 months and I think I needed that more than a 5 day intensive seminar. That's just personal preference, however. I don't like to blow all my money that quickly.

new cost

I believe the new cost is something like $3150. It just went up a bit. This doesn't include the Stanford visit to see Dr. Anderson, so another $500-600.

$500 - $600? Is that for a single visit? If so, does that include a thorough physical examination?

I paid $500 for it, although I was told it could be $500-600. It's step 1 of the clinic, and yes it includes a thorough physical examination, they basically want to rule out other possibilities and make sure you are suitable for the clinic. Dr. Anderson told me he thought I'd do well because I had no inflammation, and it appeared my only problem was tension and trigger points. He does check for trigger points, doesn't bother finding them all though, just makes sure you have some. It's basically the type of exam you might have with a regular urologist, only longer and he understands the problem better.
