Great Improvement over the last 5 days!!!!
Hey everybody. I started doin the stretches from the headache in the pelvis book for 20 minutes a day... I try to do them after a bath... What a help they have been I can't begin to explain... Atleast 65-75 percent... I can't stress enough, anybody with this, no matter what your symptomsare, get the book, and do the stretches... Also, try and get everything off your chest, try not to hold as much in when something is bothering you....
Age 21.. | Symptoms: Extreme discomfort in bladder, and lower abdomen.. To the point that I can't sit still, and sleep, can't do anything.. The only that will help is getting into the bath... Urinary frequency, Urinary hesitancy, sometimes taking a few minutes to get just a little bit out.. Sometimes lower back pain when I lay down at night.. Never have the golf ball feeling everybody talks about, and never have a problem sitting down.. Helps: Hot baths, Xanax (but makes me extremely tired), stretching (it seems like only sometimes), pain killers (ex: Percocet, but if I take them, they end up making me worse the next days following, probably due to the urinary retention they cause).. Makes worse: Stress is the main main thing, caffeine and spicy foods too, but not really a whole whole lot.. only a moderate amount..

Hi BG,
As your symptoms are similar to mine (mainly urinary urgency and frequency), I'm intrigued. But...what was your assessment with the PT like? Were trigger points found? Because I went to a few good ones and none found anything. Yet I suppose anything's possible...

Good news! That's a dramatic improvement in just a few days. Remember how you feel TODAY, because recovery from this will undoubtedly come with many flare-ups and roller-coaster weeks. But as long as you can remember the way you feel today, you can get through those without as much of a psychological hit as before.

Yes, thanks for the encouragement Mike.. To Kevin, I havn't even had a PT session yet, I have my first one scheduled on Wednesday... My advice to you, take a warm bath atleast once a day, and as soons as you get out do your stretches for like 20-30 minutes... Just get up a little earlier and do them... Also, I've been taking a shower at night, and doin them again... There fairly easy stretches, you can do them while watchin the tv, or listenin to music...
