urinary stream?

Can chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome affect the urinary stream? Make it weak or split? Even though the prostate is not swollen. Sometimes it comes out strong.

Mine splits like a mutha f*&#%er. I can't et a single doctor to explain why either. I did find info on pelvic myno pages on the site that this form is on. I hink it is mscle tightened around urethra. Mine always splits, never has burned and is fairly strong.
