Might a high angle of erection be a hint that one has pelvic floor tension? This might be way off, but my doctor told me that the reason I have an erection >45 degrees above the horizontal (straight otherwise) is that I have "strong" muscles controlling the erection. Which muscles control the angle of erection, and could these muscles also be tight and causing pelvic pain?
Thanks!

I don t know how relevant is the angle.
I thought many people do have a higher angle than 45
but with no doubt , chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is somehow linked to the muscles responsible for Erection. An example, is to see how Kegel excercises , generally unhramful for most people, trigger pain in many chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome patients.
Those excercises are generally supposed to enhance the Erection among other things.
