just got head ake in pelvis book
iv had chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome for 1/2 years and it took me a year to find this website but it was the best thing that that happened to me. my syptoms were teste pain urethral burn and that tip thing. I was put threw the levaquin and cysto bullshit with no resulsts. and thank god I found this site cause I learned to stop the meds right away. but the damage to my intestens had allready been done. I've been off em for 9 mounths now and my stomach is a lot better but not 100 percent I would say 85. I've been tacking prosta protek for 3 mounths. but I've noticed more discomfort in my pelvis after taking them then when not. so I stoped them any one else feel that way? but I just started read ing head ake in the pelvis and am wondering if the trigger point thepry is nessacery for a full cure. I've stop ejactulating and noticed my symptoms dissapear for a week now. I'm also doing moment to moment relaxation. it seems to help.

I think SOME form of physical therapy is necessary. If you have trigger points, no amount of paradoxical relaxation is going to break them down. They can last forever until deactivated.
I bought AHIP too, and held off on therapy for a long time. I found I wasn't committed to the process as much before I had therapy. But once I started paying for it, I was damned sure I was going to do the stretching and relaxation till I was blue in the face.
Besides, if you talk to Dr. Wise, he'll tell you that all 3 parts are equally important to the recovery. You have trigger points. You need therapy. You have shortened muscles that are prone to trigger point creation. You need to do stretching. You have tension that causes shortened muscles and trigger points. You need to learn to relax them. So, as you can see, all parts are needed, and they work together.
Regarding the Prosta Protek - it's debatable whether those pills by themselves are responsible for your increase in pelvic discomfort. This condition waxes and wanes so much that it's easy to mistake things you are doing as making things better or worse at the time. You know your body though, so it's worth listening to it.

true
i hear you about the wax and wane I mean its so confusing to pinpoint some of the catalyst for flare ups I'm starting to think they come and go for no reason at all at this point. but not ajaculating for a week has signifently lessened them for me this last week. I'm praying that not cumming will give it time to heal. but I just broke up with the love of my life and my fucken stomach is in nots talk about tension. well wha you gana do thats life. at least I won't have pussy tempting me on a daily basis.

is it possible
is it possibe that I dont have trigger points. I mean I read a lot on here about guys who have pain when sitting and erectile problems. I dont have major pain when sitting but I do get this acking in my lower back after sitting in a chair with no back support. and it seems to me that ill feel ok for week good peeing and emypying of bladder. but the start of a flare up I notice its set off wehen my stream weaking and I'm not emtying my bladder fully then my balls start to sag a bit more than they did when I was feeling ok then I get this minor burnry /nagey felling in the tip of urethra. funny thing abot it it makes feel like I need to nut or pee or get somthing out.but last night I got that feeling and I just went to sleep instead of jerkin it. and it went away in the morning.
