I finally went ahead and had a Botox injection into the Bulbocavernosal muscle yersterday. The injection was pretty dilute (20ml I think), so as not to risk any dysfunction in a muscle which is crucial to ejaculation, I believe.
Nothing happened for the first few days, then I started to noticed a numb feeling in the muscle. (I was injected between the testes and the anus - closer to the anus than the testes). Three days on, the numb feeling is actually pretty annoying: I was expecting to feel nothing at all, not to have a feeling of nothing, if you see what I mean!
My usual symptoms, if anything, have currently been flared up by the injection. I can feel a heightening of the pulling sensation on the right side of the perineum and the pinching on the left which the Botox was intended to eliminate. Still, it's early days. Thankfully, (touch wood) nothing disaterous has happened - I can still get a stiffy (to use the technical jargon) and have had no incontinence.
Slightly dissappointed not to be reporting an out-and-out cure, but I am optimistic that I will get a good effect in the next week or so, and that the 'knot' I have where the Botox was injected will dissappear over time.

Well, six days since the procedure now the Botox has certainly taken effect, and, to be honest, its not been a good move. I'd have to say as things stand that things have got worse. Where the injection was administered (between the anus and the testes) I have a knotty, tight feeling which is making sitting down uncomfortable. It is also making my lower back ache. I have read reports of people having some strange sensations and discomfort for the first few weeks after the injection, so maybe it will go away. However, at this stage, I can't say I recommend Botox.
