Fears and worries in the bladder zone

Post by Pewee »

Hi all

just want to say what a fantastic resource this site is!!!!

Ok here we go.....I have had various symptoms or problems in my pelvic area. Pain in the rectum when urinating, pain in one of my tesicles, pain in the shaft of my penis when having a pee, tense feelings in general in the pelvic floor, and more recently a feeling in my bladder that is very tender and full all the time.I have night time visits to the toilet (3-4 times)
which is a joy to behold.

Also when my bladder is full it feels very distended and hard and kinda forms a hard bit between my pelvic bone and my navel, when I go to the toilet this "hard bit" goes down and disapears. I'm very concerned about this....is this a typical chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome symptom! If anyone has any experience or info on the situation relating to the bladder and Interstitial Cystitis or Prostatisis I would much appreciate it as I'm worried sick about this!
Also, is the bladder in front of the intestines or behind?

Thanks Much

Peter

Bladder

Ok so no experiences out there of that symptom.
my next question is, having read posts and info suggesting that stress can bring on symptoms is it possible that the muscles around the bladder can tighten or contract to such an extent that the bladder can feel solid during a period of stress? It all feels so tight down there and I'm trying to determine what to do about it

I have had this symptom. Mine was with the second flare I had. My bladder did feel oddly full and when I releived myself it seemed to get better. And yes several trips to the bathroom nightly. It went away after a few weeks.

The bladder is just above the pubic bone. The sigmoid colon turns down and starts is journy past your bladder on its way to your backside just to the left of your navel. Your small intestines are sorta bunched in the middle and I beleive lays on your bladder.

No intestines in front of bladder.

"Hardness" equates to spasm, usually.
