I have not been evaluated by a physical therapist just by a few doctors that are uro but have some knowledege of CPPS. I have been looking around the web and found two muscles that are not talked about much but seem important. Some of my symptoms might be related to the bulbospongiosus muscles which is a superficial muscle of the perineum it is also innervated by the perineal branches of the pudenal nerve, in males it contributes to erection ejaculation and the feeling of orgasm and is united and surround the base of the penis and assist in emptying the urethra. The ischiocavernosus muscle below the surface of the perineum helps flex the anus and stablize the erect penis. My main problem is the perineum pain like a spasm or moving like feeling in that area, the erection and ejaculation pain I have. And the orgasm feeling that I have that some one else said in this forum like a feeling of over use or pain when one has to many ejaculations in a short time period a over use I guess. Might also account for the drippling effect I have after I urinate and the feeling of not emptying my bladder. And the left testicle pain I have as well. And pain in the perineum when sitting, and the need to get to the bathroom at once great urge to urinate. Some of my problems might stem from these muscles and may have a high tone.
questions
Do people find these muscle to be some source of there problems?
Can perineum muscles spasms be the cause?
Since the pudenal nerves run around these muscles have people found them to be a problem to?
Do people find myofasical trigger point therapy of these muscles bulbospongiosus and ischiocavernosus to help if found to be a source of the problem?
ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD
