Response Time to Elavil

Post by Elton Fan »

Can anyone here whose has been on Elavil give me an idea of what your reponse time was?

I've been on Elavil for about a month (10 mg a day) and was starting to feel a lot better the last couple of weeks, until a flare up aa couple of days ago maybe from something I ate. I still need to cut the coke and chocolate out of my diet as well.

THanks

i got immediate results from it. dont know why because it is supposed to work over a longer period. I am sure it wasn't placebo.

You seem to be on a lowish dose. My understanding is that 20-30 mg is needed.

Thanks. I think my URO is intentionally is starting me on a low dose to minimize the side effects. I think he'll raise me when I see him again in about a month.
