Just wanted to let forum members know that we are starting to have quarterly support group meetings for chronic pelvic pain sufferers in Encino CA. These meetings are free of charge and are open to anyone suffering from any type of chronic pelvic pain (i.e. prostatitis, I.C., sacroiliac joint dysfunction, pudendal neuropathy, vulvodynia, etc.) and spouses, adult friends and/or significant others.
Our last meeting was devoted to physical therapy as a promising treatment for varied types of chronic pelvic pain.
Our next meeting will be held in Encino, CA on September 18th, at 1:30 p.m. The topic for the meeting will be Understanding and Coping with the Emotional stress that accompanies chronic pelvic pain. Georgina Ritchie, a health counselor, who works out of Dr. Weiss' office, will be our guest speaker. Dr. Weiss is a urologist in San Francisco, who treats all types of chronic pelvic pain.
