I have been to a few urologists and tried many different drugs to help with CP
I was wondering how do you go about getting pain medication to quell some of the pain.
The doctors I have seen were very reluctant to prescribe any medication for the pain.
Do I need to go to a special pain center ? Do I need to sound more desperate when seeing a urologist ?
Thanks

Tramadol (Ultram in the US) is excellent.

I have the SR (slow release) Tramadol and it is good. You probably will have to go to a pain specialist. Neurontin is also good for nerve related pain.scotsman wrote:Tramadol (Ultram in the US) is excellent.

Didn't realise you could get slow release tramadol. Is that still in 50mg caplets?
