Hi,

Just to post an update to my previous post on the success story board.

The only thing my CT scan shows is that I have a bulky pancreas. So my gastro is organising a endoscopy with an ultrasound scan of the pancreas from inside the stomach (apparently only a couple of people can perform this in London). This will check for problems in the pancreas (no cysts showed up on the CT scan).

I had a quick look on the net for prominent/bulky pancreas and the interesting thing is that pancreas problems can come about due to alcohol consumption (my problem started after a particular large session in Glasgow) and can then affect absorbtion of food (hence problems digesting wheat?).

So it's onto this thing, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Anyway I also have got an appointment with my Uro again so we'll see what happens.

I'm just glad my private health insurance is picking up these bills, I think I've broken £3000 so far!
