I have looked around this site and have not seen anything about the drug AVINZA. Has anyone taken this this drug for chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome I know that it has only been around for a couple of years? I also know that it is a opioid type of drug used for pain. I was given it to take along with NEURONTIN just started the NEUROTIN a couple of days ago but have held off on AVINZA because of a rapid heart beat I have been having for weeks now I am seeing a doctor about that in a couple of days.

It's a morphine sulfate extended release capsule, like Oxycontin, MS Contin, Oramorph SR and Kadian.
