I've had chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome for many years now, but in the past few months I have been having another problem. Its normal for me to only have a bowel movement every few days, but lately when I do go, I have to go every couple of hours for a couple of days. Then the cycle starts over again. My bowel movements are solid, and I dont know if this problem is due to my horrible diet and/or my muscles being in spasm. I should also say I do construction work and I never have a place to go while I'm working so I have to wait until I get home. One other thing, have any of you guys who get the burning after urination in the urethra found any relief?
Thanks!

Re: Does this sound like IBS?
I think IBS can be closely linked. My physio does lower abdomen triggerpoint work on me - similar to the type of treatment he's given in the past to IBS sufferers. I'd sort your diet out though no matter what - it wouldn't be helping your chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome and will be contributing big time to your IBS. Try not to make it so hard on your body to heal itself!GARYS wrote:I dont know if this problem is due to my horrible diet and/or my muscles being in spasm.?
