I was diagnosed with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome in July 2003. My symptoms have dramatically improved over the past 3 months from me doing relaxation and stretching techniques. However, about 1.5 months ago I developed I rash on the right side of my glands on my penis. The rash usually appears and gets worse whenever my penis becomes erect and the skin is stretched (due to morning wood, masturbation, or sex). The rash becomes red and flakey. It can get irritated at times as well. My doctor said it was probably just irritiation. That I should use moisturizer and lubricant. This does not seem to help, because it seems that the source of the problem is the actual stretching of the penis skin.
I think that this problem might be linked to my CPPS, but unsure. Anyone else having a similar problem.
Is rash due to CPPS?

Anyone?
I will explain further. I have had rashes in the past due to CPPS. One was a heat rash from wearing a jock strap due to testicular pain. One was a fungal rash from being on antibiotics for 2 months due to initial diagnosis of CP. So I do believe this rash relates to my CPPS. I think it might be because my penis constantly leaks urine, and the head of my penis where the rash is is often moist, perhaps causing a kind of chronic diaper rash. But it definately gets worse after masterbation or sex, even though I don't really touch the area during masturbation.
