I had PSA's done now for a few years. My latest PSA came back 1.0. Do I have anything to worry about?? I am 33 y/o and been suffering for 12 years. I quess my question is if any other members here had psa's done and what there levels were. I am not sure I should have a psa of 1.0!! Wouldn't I want zero for a level????

Your thought would be appreciated!!

Your PSA would be zero only if you didn't have a prostate. For example, patients with prostate cancer who have had their prostates removed. A PSA of 1.0 is normal. The upper limits of normal is 2.5. Provided you have not had a prostatectomy, you have a ways to go yet, don't sweat it.

Ragu,
your PSA level is just fine. I am 34 years old and mine is 0,5 - limit here in the Czech Republic is 4.
