Antihistamines

Post by scoobysnacks »

Which antihistamine would you all first try. I have some Allegra lying around...but one of my problems is taking a little time to go to the bathroom, which could be due to the Quercetin. Usually what happens is once the urine hits the spot in my urethra/or prostate the muscle contraction that stops uring actually contracts. Then it relaxes and then I go, once I go the stream is weaker for a second or two then it is fine. I'm thinking as a result of quecertin, and I've heard antis hs could make this worse. Your thoughts.

Thanks
Age:29 | Onset Age: 25.5 | Symptoms: Initially burning in prostate/perineum, burning in urethra, uncontrollable muscle contraction before urinating, dual ache in groin, left testicle pain, feeling of golf ball in rectum, soarness in rectum, and muscle spasms, now mainly very mild urinary tract inflammation, burning mildly after ejaculation, some days after physical activity involuntary mild muscle contraction before urinating | Helped By: .5 mg of Ativan, Aleve (naproxen), quercetin, alcohol in large quantities (vodka and soda), stretching, walking, internal massage the perineum area and levators. | Worsened By: sitting, weightraining, jogging, coffee, caffeine in general, alcohol bothered me at first, overdoing sex

Allegra is the antihistamine that has caused the fewest problems for me.

Allegra could worsen your urinary symptoms, but I doubt quercetin would. I've never heard of quercetin causing urinary hesitancy, and I can't think of why it would.
