Anaesthetic in suppository form?

Post by jamo »

Is this a new idea? Or is it available on the market?

The reason why I write this post is as follows. When I had haemerroids I took a suppository with a local anaesthetic in it, and low and behold no pain when I took the suppositories, when I stop them, pain again! Is there a link/correlation with the suppositories? Or was it just a placebo? The suppositories were on prescription, not over the counter.

Just a thought for the day! You never know it could be the way forward for pain relief. Replies welcome!

age: 38 symptoms(started in 2002-finished 2005): continual pain in prostate and surrounding area, increase of pain with sexual activity and stress: what helps? Time, natural supplements and change of diet/lifestyle. At present 100% symptom free

In principle, an anesthetic suppository may act to temporarily relieve symptoms by calming the nerve activity in the pelvis. IMO, of course.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
