my story...help?

Post by partyguy »

alright, heres my story. I started having problems when I was about 17 with pain with ejaculation. this pain was a burning sensation at the tip of the penis, and a pain at the bottom of the shaft with each thrust, along with the inability to remain hard. at the same time I noticed an abnormality above my left testicle. with this, I also had a stabbing pain around my asshole. so of course I go have a urologist check it out. the abnormality turned out to be an enlarged epididimus. I told him about the other problems and he did a prostate exam and determined that it was a bit swelled. he did a urine exam and it came back negative, even though I had been having cloudy urine. so he thought I had chronic prostatitis and told me wut to do about it, and he gave me some medicine maybe Cipro. my dad, whos a doctor, warned me not to take antibiotics at this age in my life. so instead I tried out saw palmetto. as the years went by my pain with ejaculation problems went away, but the prostate pain in the ass area didn't really... and my overall ability to keep a hard boner has gone down every year since. now, I'm 22 and I recently ran out of the saw palmetto and my libido and frequency of erections has gone to nearly 0. during this time I had some enzyte lying around and have been using it. maybe thats why my libido and erections were down, but I thought it might be able to do a little help. however over this time my pain in the prostate has gone down to nearly nothing, even with bowel movement. so, basically I'd like some advice. I'd really like to go the natural route. thanx for any input!

partyguy,
i had some enzyte lying around and have been using it.
Enzyte looks like a spam ad that I get in my email inbox. Look at their webpage: http://www.enzyte.com/index.html -- there is no research to support its effectiveness -- just "testimonials."

You should definitely discuss erectile problems with your physician to rule out any physical abnormalities. If your erection problems are a residual effect of your penile/pelvic pain from when you were 17, there is no shame in seeing a therapist or trying relaxation techniques. Search this forum for "relaxation."

What are your current specific symptoms? What kind of advice are you looking for?

currently my symptoms area numbness in my enlarged epididimus from time to time, along with cloudy urine sometimes. but the majority of the problems now are very soft erections, inability to achieve erections, low libido, and a short amount of time to "get off". sometimes I have a bit of numbness inthe sack after ejaculation. and morning woods are a rarity. I'm just curious if there are other things I should take, along with the saw palmetto once I get some more in the mail??

Partyguy,

Read through the forum. Do a search on Saw Pallmetto.

There are some accounts of decreased libdido. See this post: viewtopic.php?t=82&highlight=palmetto

Read the cp.com site https://ucpps.men/ and WebMD http://my.webmd.com/content/drugs/3/404 ... 31713CA348}

Also, check Google and other search engines to see if Saw Palmetto is really for you.

Most importantly, ask your doctor for recommendations, based on your current symptoms.

I have the exact same issues as you have. It is really frustrating.
During this period have you ever had anything that helped you with your problems. I have not much pain either.

not really. I think saw palmetto helped a little with the overall enlargement and ejaculatory pains. but I still need to get my peter workin right so I can bang consistently.
