Hallo,
one of my symptoms I do regularly monitor is sensation of small to medium fever&chill sensation around my waist. This comes usually with new flare ups, but not rarely it is not acompanied with other symptoms. It is kind of permanent feeling of cold around the waist ans lower back and takes from half an hour to several hours.
I did not see that specific symptom listed here on the webb in the sypmtoms chapter and in forum discussion, so I was was wandering if you guys experience that chilly sensation as well?

When you say a "fever sensation", do you mean a tingling feeling, like this:

No, tingling feeling is not correct description for that. Tingling is very good word for other so typical symptoms of this disorder e.g. testicle pain or discomfort in pubic area - similar to Paso example.
This feeling is very close to situation when you feel that sudden "bump" of cold sensation (very close to cold feeling people may have when quick flu start to get the body and you feel that you have to go to to bed and stay in warm) is spreading around your waist area - even though I sit in a warm office. Tingling feelings usually may (or may not) follow these "fever" sensation. I have never experienced these "fever" feelings before I was diagnosed with prostatitis in June this year.

Your description sounds like that of a neuropathy. Neuropathies can produce feelings of burning or cold. That would correspond to a pelvic myoneuropathy - more evidence of what we now suspect is the primary cause of chronic pelvic pain.
