I think it's highly unlikely that your problem is microbial, but no matter how this works out, please keep us posted so that others may learn from you.

I hope it’s not and just goes away by itself. The symptoms just make me super worried. It’s exactly the symptoms I had with other STI infections before.

Anyway I sent MicroGenDX an email asking for my report. Apparently they don’t send it without the patient requesting it via email. That’s good to know. I didn’t know it.

Still no response from MicroGen DX. I don’t like that. Shouldn’t take that long and shouldn’t be the patient having to ask for it.

It seems I can reduce the urge to pee and the pressing/itching sensation in the urethra by eating enough and reducing my water intake. My diary shows I had c. 1.7 L water yesterday which made me go pee 7 times throughout the day. That’s still much more than I would normally go when drinking that little, and every time I actually didn’t have to pee that much (maybe 80-120 ml each time and only a slight urge to pee each time). But overall it made me feel much better.

At the same time, the discharge is worse. This morning again a clear watery discharge was dropping out of my penis. Not sure if that is just leaking urine.

My urine sometimes now has some bubbles, though I’m not sure if that’s just from the stream dropping against the toilet first.

I really need that MicroGenDX report.

Mine has bubbles also. Especially in the first void urine.

You can call them and they will send you the reports in the spot. That's what I did.

Normal. Normal number of times to urinate per day is between 6 – 7 in a 24 hour period. Between 4 and 10 times a day are the limits to normal.

Thanks. I was hoping I don’t have to run after them as a customer. Seems even sending an email is not enough. So I’ll try to call them.

And I figured the bubbles are nothing to worry about. Only foamy urine might be reason for concerns.

Yes, that’s what I read online too. It’s just not normal for me. Drinking that little water I would normally go pee 3-4 times, and it wouldn’t be small amounts of 80-120 ml est. everytime.

Yes your volumes are a little low, probably due to inflammation causing irritation and more frequent urination.

So my MDX results are there and it says:
Staphylococcus Warneri 55%
Staphylococcus Epidermidis 33%
Staphylococcus haemolyticus 7%

It also says “ Please Note: Low bacterial levels were found in the sample. Bacterial levels may be below Rapid Screening limit of quantitation.”

Any idea what to do with that?

PS: Calling MDX directly helped getting the results immediately. Though I really don’t understand why a patient has to run after them.

PPS: Checking the spam folder also helped. I actually called them twice just to find out that their email was in spam.

That seems like a harmless result!
Age:29| Onset Age:27 | Symptoms: constant pressure in penis, small amount of urine coming, nighttime urination | Helped By: ejaculation, sex, gym | Worsened By: coffee, worrying | Other comments: there was sometimes bacteria found in semen cultures (e.faecalis 10^5/10^6)but last 3 tests didn’t show anything

Should I be concerned about the footnote saying low-level bacteria were found?

I think that means that they found other bacteria that represent less than 2% of the bacteria pool and so they don't consider it to be relevant.

No you shouldn’t, you should accept it as it is even though you have hoped maybe for a „better“ outcome, means a really pathogenic bacteria

I think these are normal, not pathogenic bacteria.
