Having worked with patients with neurological disorders, I know what those who suffer from brain damage sound like when they talk. Most people, even Republicans, can recognize Bush's obvious deficits. He can barely speak in full sentences. Bush himself even makes jokes about it. Given his history of severe substance abuse, I think my hypothesis is a reasonable one.
I am Republican and will have to agree with Mastcells. Something is not right. I saw a debate with him from '94 with Ann Richardson then gov of Texas and he was a LOT quicker then he is now. It was like a different person.
I talk to people that are die hard Republicans that would argue until death that whoever the Republican is at the time, is a God and could do no wrong and they will vote Republican for ever. I am sure that the same goes for die hard Dems to.
Those people scare me a lot.
Are there that many people in the US that can not judge things for themselves and just blindly follow their party?
If Hitler was running for office this year(either party) and knowing his past I bet he would still get millions of votes from the die hards of his party.
You have probably guessed by now who I am going to vote for this year.
