It will feel weird at first when practising but I believe we can reverse this stupid habit, remember we have been clenching our muscle for a long time, so it will take a little longer to reset. As far as the erection problem, me personally I noticed that I now have regular morning erections, I think this is due to increased blood circulation in that area.Keep relaxing it you will have the erection ( in fact it will feel funny having an erection with a relaxed muscle, it happened to me), if you really think about it, we all had erections without clenching our muscle before right?

tedduz,
I can relate to what you are saying in your first post. We are around the same age only I noticed my symptoms when I was 22yrs old, a while ago now. I wonder how many people's experience, like mine was, as well as you, that they noticed things going on and thought: what is going on? And then go to the emergency room — they run test for std's, come back negative, and they start trying different pills, like Cipro, doxy and the like, and then it goes from there. I wonder how many people would have wished those test come back positive and be given some pills — it clears up and you go on from there. I wonder if a poll has every been done on this site seeing how many people started out like tedduz and I have just described. Actually there probably is a poll like this some where on this site?

Also I hear you on the lack of medical insurance and paying out of the pocket. Actually there are millions of people out there in the USA without insurance and have a lot of problems when medical things come up in their life. For me the insurance I have — a lot of doctors will not take it because of the pay off, and it will not pay for certain treatments, and also it does not cover certain drugs only if the drug has a cheaper generic one, no new type of drug.

ANYWAYS GOOD LUCK MAN

Thanks zr,

Hey webslave, carld, or whomever with experience, I have a question..., I was doing good up until last week, after I ate spicy food, now I am have frequency issues since then.

My question..

(1) can you tell me specifically how spicy food leads to frequency issues ?

(2) it seems that when am flaring my urine seems to be more foamy, no flare = no foamy urine, explain?

(3) is it advisable to hold on to urine when one is flaring, or just void, or after healing I will be able to hold on urine longer since there is no inflammation?

So far, am doing good

Thanks for the reply

Hey Ted.

Sorry nobody has responded to your latest post. I wish there was a way to be alerted when a reply has been posted so those in that chain could respond right back. Anyway, I can't explain the foamy urine. You're the only one I've ever heard of with that problem. But don't feel bad, I've scoured the internet to find others who have testicular tingling and its pretty much only me.

As for spicey foods, alcohol, etc., thats always been one thing that made me skeptical about this just being a muscular problem and not a problem with the bladder or urethra. The same with acidic foods. It seemed strange to me that these foods would cause irritation to a condition that is allegedly caused by too much flexing of the pelvic muscles (among other things). But I can honestly say that since I've concentrated on relaxing more, I've not been bothered by alcohol nearly as much. Spicey foods still causes pain when I urinate a few hours later so I avoid it. As for why this happens, a physical therapist who I will eventually see for treatment did explain the relation of alcohol and spicey foods to urinary problems. That being said, I didn't understand what she told me and don't really remember. But it had something to do with the body releasing some chemical into the bladder or urinary stream when the muscles are so tense and damaged? I'm sorry I can't remember what she said. It sounded scientific and she seems to know a lot about pelvic pain as well as the Wise Anderson protocol. Don't know if she is right about that but I've done a lot of relaxing and stretching and the such and I can now drink beer again.

Hope this helps.

Thanks brenn

I looked through the forum about foamy urine , and I came up with this post
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4868 from kevin and rysocal, and then webslave made this comment about Vesicocolic Fistula, I hope this is not the case, because i read that it could be caused by a tumor.
Vesicocolic Fistula
A fistula is the term used to refer to an abnormal connection formed between two body cavities. So in this case, the vesicocolic fistula refers to the abnormal connection formed between the urinary bladder and the colon. A vesicocolic fistula is the most common type of fistula formation between the gastrointestinal tract and the bladder. It occurs more in men than in women. An edema or swelling is formed on the base of the urinary bladder and fluid gets accumulated under the skin. Bubbles formed in this fluid are released in the urine and can be indicators of medical conditions like tumors, Crohn's disease. However, several times there is no treatment required at all. However, one needs to consult the doctor for further guidance."
I might have to go to the hospital just in-case?
How do they test for this?

Urinate under water, say in your bath. If you see bubbles in the urine as it exits the urethra, see your doctor.

Will try that when I get home. Webslave, if I see bubbles in the urine, does that mean I might have fistula from the bowel to the bladder, prostate or urethra, eg Vesicocolic Fistula ?

kinda scared

We'll discuss it further when, and if, you've seen bubbles coming from your urethra underwater.

Webslave,I Did not see any bubble underwater when I voided, so I guess it is not, is just that I don't understand this foamy urine especially the first void When I wake up, when I am not flaring I don't have foamy urine

Foamy urine is a different issue. Have your local doctor test for protein in the urine.

Passing foamy urine now and then is normal. It may just mean that you urinated rapidly, perhaps with more concentrated urine — as sometimes happens when you're mildly dehydrated.

I will be surprised about mildly dehydrated because I drink a lot of water all the time, when went to the hospital I told them about foamy , I was told it was from inflammation, anyway, I will go to the hospital and test for protein just too make sure

My doctor prescribed me a personal use urine tester and it turns out I got a Siemens Urine Tester the very set the doctors used on me. It covers lots of parameters (7) including protein, pH, glucose etc. I found I had a trace of protein at one point, which can be normal and tested again today about a year later (I'm not as obsessive in my treatment of this condition anymore) and it looks perfect - protein - nil, pH 7 - i.e. neutral. Drinking plenty of water and have given up even herbal teas, simply just some honey in hot water. The hot water is good for my IBS too. I had the foamy stinky urine too a while back, it went over time and never came back - everyone will and is getting better, I can't stress enough about this fact!!
Age: 25 Onset: 23. | Symptoms: Burning in urethra, urinary frequency/urgency, 'golf ball' in butt syndrome, muscle tension form pelvis to calves, constipation, IBS, testicular pain/inflam, bladder pain when nearly full, difficulty relaxing muscles (coccygeal, levator ani etc.), pain and muscles tension in anus/perineum. Helped by: quercetin, relaxation, baths, heat packs applied to perineum. Worsened by: Stress, driving, sitting, jogging, caffeine etc.
