help me please,I'm scared and worried

Post by tf1 »

I've been off levaquin for three or four months and still have found no relief to my aches & pains since taking these drugs.(floxin&levaquin)another thing I ve noticed and it scares me is.it feel like my stomach has knots all over.I dont know if their lymphnode flare ups or what?I'm considering having a complete cat scan done, maybe it will give me some relief if it shows nothing wrong. Its very expensive though.I'm driving my wife crazy to the point that I upset her because I always think something is wrong with me.I'm only 30 but I feel ike I'm 80.Would be comforting to here someone that has had the same problems.I have found ways to deal with the pain(tramadol, hot baths)I still can't shake this pain I'm having right in the middle of my butt it almost feels like my tailbone,is this the same feeling everyone has?in the same spot?or is it deeper inside.I just dont know what to do about all the aches&pains I can barely get out of bed in the mornings.I think the levaquin has done some damge to some of the cartilage in my joints also have severe tendonitis does anyone know of anything that will help.I'm losing it,i dont know what to do,sorry to ramble and run on sentences.thanks for listening

The tailbone pain in my experience was due to pelvic floor tension or tight levator ani muscles. this caused pain in my urethra and voiding symptoms. It was all caused by first developing an inflamed prostate. Its a viscious cycle.

However, can you be more specific to where your pain is. Any other symptoms, have you had a DRE to rull out infections etc. Are you having any voiding symptoms which could be weak stream, slow beginning, dribbling, urgency, frequency etc and so forth.

In my experience if the feeling in the tailbone is purely burning and deep its prostate inflamed. If its more superficial and stings and feels like something is up in your ass thats due to the levators being tight. Since I had both, I know it all too well.

I suggest reading this whole board, its helped me a ton to get where I am today. Secondly, find a pelvic floor specialist (PT) as soon as you can. Read A headach in the Pelvis. Cut out caffeine and acohol for now. If you suspect your prostate at all in this, begin ProstaProtek (I believe this with Prelief led to the healing of my inflamed, not infected, prostate).

If you can be more specific and I know all the experts on here will try to help you out, hope I helped a bit.

Hi,

Just a few words to help you out! Its up too you if you listen. I went through the exact same symptoms when I first contracted CPPS, went to the doctor with pain in my stomach areas with feelings of swollen nymph nodes. The doc would examine me and say that I am fine, well I didn't feel fine. I keept telling my wife that there was something seriously wrong with me and there was.

In the end I went to see an alternative (complementary) practioner, he found that my lymphatic system was working very hard (slow), my digestive system had very bad mucas build up and impacted fetas, my blood was what they called dirty due to the above.

Well this fella put me on a detox program, a colon cleanse and strong advice to change my diet (eat healthly, almost vegan diet), cut out caffine and alchol, calm down in the sexual area. It worked! I no longer felt like I was going to die, the chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is still on going problem, but I no longer have the ibs like symptoms and the daily illness of feeling unwell. I just fight the chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome now, which is dealt with much better the more I stick to the above, clean diet, cut out tea and coffee, relaxation, chrondrioton and glucosamine....etc.

This is not medical advice it is my own experience.
