Injections not Always Successful

Caution is of the utmost importance with any invasive medical procedure.
I do beleive that I have benifited from these types of treatments and that at least a subset of sufferers out there can as well.
I do not think it is a cure - and maybe that is the rub.
All I was looking to do was be able to live my life again - and I can now.
If we view this type of treatment as just that - a "TREATMENT" - that may need repeating 2 - 3 times a year - there could be some benifit to sufferers out there.
The thing with me is - there are so few other options.
I know everyone here talks about the great physio-therapy - but I can not find it in my neck of the woods - I would try it if it were out there to get.
So - I try what I can get my hands on - and it helps.
If physio-therapy ever becomes common place enough that I can get it without having to quit my job and move out of state to reciveve it - I will do it. Right now - NYC is the closet center - and that is an expensive trip and an expensive stay. Not to mention - it sounds like you guys who have benifitied return often for treatments - it makes the whole thing rather impractile for us working folks with a family to support.
I am not criticizing the therapy - just its availability. When I emailed Dr. Wise asking for doctors near me he said I must not understand the condition and that travel to a qualified therapist is essential.
That may be true - but not practical - so in the meantime - I do what works.
And for me (and some others) injections do work as a form of treatment.
