Yoga and Relaxation Rocks!
OK... After having to deal with constant pain from mid December last year, and experimenting with different antibiotics I decided to give relaxation therapy a serious try. Picked up Yoga twice a week for an hour each and worked specifiacally on stretching out the pelvic muscles. Stopped taking antibiotics a month ago. I also stopped by the local health store and picked up some multivitamins, including Chondroitin and Flex Oil (omega-3) tablets. I had been taking Quercetin (Quercetin) tablets for the past month, but decided to stop that all together as well as I was only seeing minimal improvements with it. I seriously spent most of my time stretching the pelvic muscles by going to Yoga classes and working them out at home. I can honestly say, that I am 95% better now and some days a 100%. I also have to mention that I've been taking Prelief tablets which I picked up OTC at the local Wallgreens. It helps me a great deal when I eat high acidic foods, such as tomatoes and I highly recommend it to anyone. Yoga relaxation and the stretching is the key to battle this disease and it works..
.............. Good luck you all...

I totally agree!
I've been doing yoga for the past several months, and it has simply worked wonders!! And, I also do various meditation exercises as well, which also helps with relaxation. Yoga is slow medicine, and I believe it's pivotal for a long term recovery. What kinds of stretches have been most beneficial for you?

Freddy,
I'm curious about what type of symptoms you have suffered from before you started your relaxation sessions.
Although we all seem to lump our various pains into a common category called pelvic pain, I'm convinced after reading these, and many other posts, that we all don't really have the same kinds of pains. So if you could elaborate on the types of pains you had, it may help some of us know if this is the approach we should be considering.
Thanks
