Quercetin ingredients

Post by pvdiamon »

I just received my Quercetin. I've had what appears to be a good response to generic Quercetin already after a few days, although that kind of response is sort of scary because it smells of placebo effect! I was surprised to see any accredited quercetin product is a 545 mg formula, and it implies that this number incorporates all the ingredients. Assuming 500 mg of Quercetin, and some bromelain for absorption, how much cranberry could there be in it? Wouldn't that small amount of cranberry be like drinking a teaspoon of cranberry juice? Apparently ProstaProtek also doesn't tell its ingredients either, but how much chondroitin could there be when the typical dose of that for joint disease is like a horse pill? Of course if these preparations work, I don't care, but it is still odd to me.

Before receiving either product I was using quercetin 3 x per day at 1 gram at a time. With 2 grams of chondoitin and glucosamine total spread over two doses. This eliminated nearly all urinary pain. I've found with these products I still needed to add a bit of quercetin and 1 500mg chondroitin/glucosamine tab. I've only kept with prostaprotek bc of the idea that it may help repair the prostate and bladder/urethra lining. But honestly I've found I need the 3 grams Quercetin and 2 grams (which is the dose for joint pain) of chondroitin.
