Is there anyone that has been helped by a specific alpha blocker with sexual dysfunction.

just a guess, but perhaps Flomax could help with ejaculatory problems by relaxing some of the tense muscles around there.

Is there anyone that has been helped by a specific alpha blocker with sexual dysfunction.

I've never heard of anyone's sexual dysfunction getting better from taking alpha-blockers. I think it's usually the other way around; in my case, alpha-blockers caused retrograde ejaculation and possibly erection problems, both of which went away after I stopped them.

In my case, the retro went away within a few days of stopping Flomax.

Just been prescribed this drug - .4mg x1. Immediate effect = reduced semen (or none!) but heighted erection with odd orgasms.....strange.

increased libido....

so bucks the trends

but retrograde ejaculation I can do without...somehow disconcerting

I have the same result (no semen) from Harnal (another brand name of Tamulosin). No change in libido though, I still need it twice a day.

I am having very noticable sexual dysfunctions since beginning Flomax 3.5 weeks ago. My main problems are retro-ejaculation and early ejaculation. After taking the Flomax, I almost always ejaculate right away. This was never a problem before Flomax. I've tried building up tolerance, but still having horrible problems.

Any one else having this problem?
