My Story. Your thoughts? CPPS or IC?

Did you ever try the effect of valium or valium-gabapentin-baclofen suppository on your symptoms? It is not a good or permanent solution but one IC urologist told me that if it works well it may point to a Pelvic floor dysfunction. Of course PFD may be only one of the components.

There are a couple things I haven't tried on that page webslave.

No I haven't tried the valium. My urologist doesn't think it's appropriate. It's extremely frustrating since she doesn't think I have CPPS or IC. She just told me to take ibuprofen for the pain and gave me detrol for the urge to urinate.

I think in the grand scheme of things, I may have a mild case. But it really bugs me that while it has gotten "better" in the past year, it hasn't gone away. I remember sitting in the W/A clinic and seeing all the people there that had been suffering for 5+ years and it really scared me. I don't want to end up like that. I want to be able to post a success story and be done with this whole thing...but it doesn't seem to be going away.

Get a new uro. Also, how about actually following the W-A clinic protocol?
