I'm feeling good. I've been doing stretches and taking a couple walks during the day. I think the trick is to keep busy with something you enjoy and try not to think about it. I'm off all pills for now. I'll check back and update in a while. Good luck to all!

I'm doing good. I'm on no meds or vitamins. Just try and keep busy with something you enjoy and it will subside.

Good to hear you are doing OK...hope it stays that way.
I've been dealing with this almost 3 months now and my symptoms have settled to intermittent burning urethra, perineum pain (especially when sitting on certain surfaces), general feeling of discomfort/heaviness in scrotum at times. Stress really seems to exacerbate my symptoms.

Not much seems to help. Trying to stretch and stay active but hard to keep motivated.
Info: Age 53, no other major heath issues.
initially heaviness, feeling of swelling and discomfort in scrotum,
testicular tenderness which since had transformed into perineum pain,
intermittent burning sensation in urethra, intermittent frequency/urgency issues, mild suprapubic cramps.
Scrotal ultrasound, urinalysis came back normal...no signs of infection.
DRE/CT scan indicates enlarged prostate pushing on bladder with mild wall thickening.. PSA: 1.0.
Prescribed levaquin 3 weeks but stopped after 17 days due to side effect.

Sleep is typically disrupted once per night to urinate, but that's been normal for about 10 years.

I was feeling 100% until last week. I’ve been feeling great and decided to build this car port attached to my garage. I stopped at home depot and loaded some 4x4’s into my truck. One was wet and heavy so I struggled a little with it and wound up dropping it. I got home and unloaded the truck. The next morning my balls were aching a little bit. I got moving and everything seemed fine. 3 days went by without me doing any work and I felt fine and didn’t think much of it. I stopped again at Home Depot and grabbed 8 bags of cement. I loaded my truck and then unloaded at home. That night my balls were aching pretty bad. I wasn’t thinking that I may have pulled something so like an idiot I had sex. I woke up the next morning in pain and spent most of the day in bed. It’s been 3 days and I still don’t feel well. The pain comes and goes and my pelvic symptoms are returning along with now the testicle pain. I've never had testicular pain before. Any suggestions from anyone? I was feeling better at one point but then kneeled down to tie my shoe and felt like I got kicked in the nuts. I did a quick google search and said it could last 6-8 weeks if it’s a pull. Any suggestions from Webslave?

Yes, pain in testicles can be associated with hip problems, such as tears in the cartilage. The straining to lift could have done something.

My pain lessened but still not gone. It comes and goes but I am getting these bad cramps when I have to pee and peeing alleviates them. I went to my urologist and he doesn't believe its a hernia. He feels its related to my CPPS and gave me a small dose of Valium to relax the muscles till the pain subsides. He said to give it 2 weeks and if it doesn't resolve than I should go back to physical therapy. Any thoughts webslave? I've never had this type of pain in my life, have any sufferers had cramping before urination. Stabbing pains when they cough? Throbbing testicles?

Sounds very much like bladder cramps. Ask doctor for a muscle relaxant like Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) or Soma (carisoprodol). Use palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), quercetin, aloe vera and pollen extract. Follow the IC diet religiously. Continue PT work if you can afford it.

I've been feeling better and contribute my back peddling to some heavy yard work that pulled something. The trick to this disease of ours is to get out of pain long enough to forget about it, which is hard to do!

I've been feeling good. I bought a massager at Costco that kind of looks like a drill. I use it all over my body but spent a lot of time around penis area, lower stomach, thighs and ass, but nothing inside. My physical therapist says its all connected and loosening up the muscles and stretching is the most important thing to do.

I'm still feeling good. Try to put it out of your mind.

I'm still doing good. I was very bad for a long time so who ever is going through this, DO NOT GIVE UP. Try and occupy your mind with something else. For some of us, this is and anxiety disorder that tenses up your pelvic floor. Stretch, lite exercise, and internal massage can help.

Still feeling good, symptoms are rare at the moment. BUT...... my flow is terrible. If I make a conscious effort to drink water through out the day than I will pee 10x and the flow will be almost normal. But if I am going out and take a quick pee before leaving than it just dribbles out. I also noticed that I no longer wake up with those raging hard ons and the incredible urge to piss where I need to go outside or in the shower to take a leak.

Webslave, Is this something to worry about or is it something that comes with getting older. I'm 47 at the moment.

Aging is part of it, testosterone starts waning, and drinking more means more dilute urine that is less irritating, so easier flow. Some of the dribbling could also be a little BPH creeping in at your age, not a worry.

I starting sitting to pee many years ago and I recommend it to older men.

I'm still doing good. I can honestly say that I am feeling the best I felt in years. I contribute my recent success to my PT. Her confidence of curing me gave me the positivity that I needed. If you are currently going through this....... Try and get a PT that can do internal massage, do any stretches for your pelvic floor (go on you tube and you will find tons), get yourself a massage gun and go crazy down there for 20 minutes a day on everything, and get it in your head that you are NOT dying. The trick is that you need to get yourself out of pain long enough to forget about it!!

Can a medrol dose pack cause a tingling sensation in your penis after sex. I was having some knee pain and took a medrol pack. I was feeling fine until I had sex. After wards i had a tingling sort of buzzing in my penis. it went away but now its been coming and going for a day or so. I'm starting to get a little concerned. Any thoughts? Can a dose pack effect your nerves? I am starting to get concerned that i have something serious. please help?
