Re: help
Most likely it's lots of WBCs in the urine from inflammation of prostate.
Or you're drinking too much milk/dairy products, leading to phosphorus excreted in your urine (phosphaturia). Makes the urine cloudy.
Other remote possibility is protein in urine from kidney damage, I assume they would have picked that up by now.
Can't be a UTI after all your testing, plus you'd also have strong- or foul-smelling urine.

Re: help

Re: help
Yes, apparently B6 and B12 can cause cloudy urine

Re: help
I also find it hard to believe I have an infection since I took all those antibiotics. They never helped. I might have had a random 4hrs here and there of no symptoms but no more than that. My urinary and urethral symptoms have gotten worse in the past 6 weeks or so. Urine doesn't smell too awful. Not like ammonia or anything. Still can't urinate that much when I go and I go every 1.5 hrs on a good day. I had tma urine test for trich chlamydia gonorrhea 12 days after encounter and 4 days after onset of symptoms. Then another test a week after that then pcr for everything under the sun 4 weeks after the second round of tests. My wife has been spotting since November though so its really got me worried. She sees ob Tuesday so I guess I'll know for sure. I'm very worried they missed something in my tests but I dont see how.

Re: help
Also I used 850mg amoxicillin 2 or 3 times a day I can't remember. For a week starting the day after the encounter.

Re: help
Wait for the outcome of yr wife's tests. I'm pretty sure you're another GASP victim though, and that the biggest battle you have ahead is psychological.

Re: help
Update: Wife had pap, internal ultrasound and hpv test. Everything looks good. Couldn't find any reason for abnormal bleeding. They did not test for anything specific as far as bacteria but also I suppose didn't find any reason to. They did uterine a cervical biopsy. Blood tests were normal along w normal hormone levels. So other than steroid shots she gets every 3 month or so we don't know what is causing it. I guess its somewhat of a relief. Very much wish I didn't have this occasional cloudy urine going on. It really fucks w my head. I will also make another donation I really hope you can keep this site going. Its a life saver no matter what my personal out come is.

Re: help
Well I had somewhat of a miracle happen. I was cured for the first time in 7 months over the last weekend. From Friday to Sunday. About 3 on Sunday it started back up again after a bm. But its not too bad right now. A little hope I guess. I had a fishing tournament at the lake which is what I love doing so maybe that helped me forget about it idk. I pissed every 6hrs instead of every 2 hours Friday and Saturday!!

Re: help
My symptoms started as urinary frequency and urgency. The rest of them have calmed down quite a bit and when in a flare they do not last long however, the urinary symptoms penis tip pain and redness still the same more or less. How do I get rid of these? I can't find any internal therapy for those. It started w unprotected sex like I got and STD or UTI so I'm unclear how it is all "mind" related w urinary symptoms. Can anyone shed any light?

Re: help
Penis tip pain usually is referred from the levator ani insertions behind the prostate. Nerves can cause the urothelium to become inflamed, hence the redness. If you read all the evidence on the FAQs and Facts forum, you'd know that.

Re: help
I did read it. I guess more to a specific question would be why the urinary symptoms and how to get rid of them. Tried the ic diet for 2 months but no change other than weight loss. Just very perplexed and would rather not go to another doc but looking like my only option.

Re: help
Someone told me that since my symptoms started after after a sexual encounter I should retest. Especially since I was on antibiotics at time of PCR test. Specifically test for mycoplasma genitalium. So I did some reading. If antibiotics effect the reliability of PCR test as in false negative, then why wait 4 weeks for test of cure after antibiotics in case of false positive ie.. toc? This doesn't make sense in my mind.

Re: help
Sure, test for M. genitalium and if it's there pre-treat with doxycycline 100mg bd for one week and then treat with a fluoroquinolone (this eradicated >90% of infections in tests, even resistant strains).

Re: help
Took test today. Still no WBCs in urine. No antibiotics in 7 months. Guess I'll know for sure in a week
