ED? CPPS? Hard Flaccid? Advice to all!

Post by boy_wonder »

Hello all,

This is just copy/paste post from me on Pegym forum. I want to share it here, too. Note 1: I am not native speaker, sorry for that.

PF - Pelvic floor
HF - Hard flaccid
  1. I am member here for ~2 years and I want to share my thoughts with you how to get rid off problems like CPPS, ED and HF (of course not suitable for everyone but I believe that this information will help someone and me too. First of all, I am 26 years old men, active and most of time happy. (little bit less last weeks)
  2. I had ED issues 2+ years ago for first time. I struggled to detect what is going on with me for long time (CBP test done, thyroid/testosterone and other hormones tests done, I saw probably 8 urologist, communicate with some PT therapist, tried prescribed pills/natural herbs, did courses of Cipro etc.) I had PE and several CPPS symptoms too. Nothing helped me much but PF exercises was probably best treatment with some good results. Note 2: all TST test etc was OK. Almost peak on TST, free TST every time). Last one result from 24/09/2020 - TT 663 ng/dL
  3. Last year I had hemorrhoidectomy. My symptoms of ED, HF, CPPS after recovery of my ass/PF after this unpleasant surgery were I think close to 0. No :) it's not my theory to advise all of you on some surgery :)
  4. Then I had good year but have some non-complicated UTIs but one was serious and affect my prostate. Since then (1, 2 weeks) I don't feel good down there. My very nice erection is not such good - go away fast, have lower back and perineal pain, change in bowel movements, hard flaccid symptoms, urinating randomly bad and good.
  5. I started think why I was Ok after surgery and why 14 days Cipro and another course of ATB did not solve my symptoms now. As many of us I started research on internet related to prostatitis, HF and other ****. I found something that make absolute sense to me and my current condition. It is fungal prostatitis caused by Candida Albicans which is probably overgrowthed in my body system due to prolonged ATB usage.
  6. I have already first blood tests with positive IgG on candida albicans done! So just for info I copy some results from healthline about candida albicans overgrowth here:
    1. Oral Thrush (white maps on tongue) - I have
    2. Tiredness/Fatigue - 50/50%
    3. Recurring UTI - I have 3 this year
    4. Digestive issues - yes
    5. Sinus infection - no
  7. Why I think surgery helped me cure my CPPS and other symptoms first time? Because I was on strict diet. Honestly I didn't eat anything almost 2 weeks (just some mixed soaps) and I take some anti-inflammatory med + enzymes for quicker recovery. Diet with no carbs/sugar is first line treatment for Candida overgrowth (candida is feeded by sugars) and I don't feed her 2 weeks. Then my symptoms like CPPS, ed, hf went away for first time after long time.
  8. Unfortunately after year I am back with my symptoms of ED caused by HF, CPPS. What I am going to do now? I already did some steps. I have positive test for candida and I want one also for chlamydia + semen analysis for chlamydia/candida in one private lab. I just want sure there is no chlamydia present.
  9. When I will have all tests complete I will go to my GP for consultation but I already now that I will ask for course of fluconazole (hard antifungal med) + diet advisory from her.... As I know her, she will prescribe me some psychologist visit as first time when I complain her about my ED problems 2+ years ago if so, I will find new GP.
  10. This research is not just about theory as I already know candida is present in my body and I think in prostate too.
  11. You should watch my face when I realize I eat kilogram of ATB on prostatitis with negative results on any bacteria and no effect on my problems.
Sharing here some links for ncbi publication:

Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome: the role of an antifungal regimen
Material and methods: We included 1, 000 consecutive patients. The inclusion criteria included failure of response to four consecutive weeks of antibiotic and alpha–blockers. The antifungal regimen was continued for two weeks. It included a low carbohydrate diet, the alkalinization of urine, and administration of fluconazole

Results: Improvement was observed in 80% of cases treated with the antifungal regimen.

Conclusions: Antifungal regimen should be considered for the majority of young adult men, presenting with chronic prostatitis/ chronic pelvic pain syndrome and incomplete response to antibiotics.

Good post from one guy on reddit:
My initial advice, would be try to find a way to do a prostate massage (ask your gf, get a urologist to do it or try yourself) while taking antifungal medicine (fluconazole or itraconazole). The massage will considerably quicken the time to recovery. You should also go on a candida diet and take probiotics. Give this 2-3 weeks and I bet you will feel about 50% better already. Eating raw garlic also will help. Now if you aren't better after all this you might need to switch antifungals since the candida might be resistant to one of them.

So it is. Please always sure and check every your condition and worries with your GP or other doctor assigned for problem area.
This is just advise where you can start research if you have same problems like me.

Wish all guys quick recovery.

Unfortunately, no. This was a theory I pursued back in the 1990s. I was also convinced I had a fungal problem and went on a multi-year anti-candida campaign that included months of fluconazole (Diflucan), a special diet etc. In the end I had to admit that my symptoms were unchanged, because soon after re-introducing foods that contained gluten, my symptoms were back.

Suggest you read carefully: https://ucpps.men/fung ... ostatitis/

You'll notice that your Egyptian study says:
Our patients were continued on a low carbohydrate diet, had their urine alkalinized with potassium citrate, and were administered fluconazole daily for two weeks.
The low carb diet is what made the difference, because it excludes grains. I always tell people here to try a gluten-free diet for a few months to see what effect it has. For some men, it has been life-changing.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Hi Webslave
So, do you know why and how gluten free diet can improve the symptoms? One of the ideas is that gluten can increase gut permeability, and leads to increasing of toxic and inflammatory substances in blood. Also because of liver weakness blood toxicity can not be reduced by liver. Gluten free diet can help to gut health and prevent to toxic permeability increasing in blood. Do you agree? Thanks
