I don't think Dr Bahn is conman or a crook. I doubt he is making much money from the procedure. The type of patients he sees are desperate and willing to fork out major money. But he doesn't charge that much.

He was upfront about everything really. He even said that he was able to alleviate symptoms more often than cure symptoms.

FOBO, Since we both had documented bacterial infections in our urine initially, I doubt stress was a trigger. The pelvic muscles involuntarily react to an infection. I think that is the cause of muscular problem, which persists after the infection has cleared apparently.
symptoms: Burning and discomfort in the pelvic region. Golf ball feeling in between anus and scrotum. Dribbling post void and split streams. general fatigue and malaise Helped by: Cipro, Bactrim, alpha blockers. Elavil Worsened by: sex, masturbation, caffeine,

Well yours looks exactly as my Doctor. And I don't think he was a crook either. He was very kind and opened to question. He told me that patients usually come to him crying for help. However I only think his method might help those with chronic bacterial infection not the others.

Regarding the last; Months before this condition I was in a depression and anxiety state for more then 1 year because of the diploma thesis. One of my friends even got depression for real during that time. But I never felt any physical problem and completing the diploma was a huge huge relief. Unfortunately it also happened during same month when my grandmother died which was very upsetting for me.

I have never mentioned this fact here:

During the early months with this condition, I was also checked for diabetes insipidus, because at that time I tended to drink huge quantities of water during the day, sometimes more than 5L. Although after tests the doctors concluded that my Polyuria was not DI, or even the common diabetes mellitus. And today I can even stay all the day without the need of drinking water.

So that water drinking disorder remained unexplained!? I even think my first E. Coli infection might be due to this. The continuous need to urinate (back at that time I could urinate 300-500ml without problems) and holding it for long periods of time because sometimes I could not get near a WC.

Maybe webslave can give his opinion about the new details I mentioned above...

Having a history of depression, stress and anxiety just prior to the onset of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is quite common.

In addition, if you were drinking large amounts of water in the early months of the condition —for whatever reason— then you were also urinating frequently. In other words, you were causing the neurological feedback mechanisms that cause urination to be fired up many more times a day than usual. Holding back urine is even worse, causing the feedback mechanism to be firing continuously while you refuse to comply. This could have been part in the wind-up process.

The sore feeling from the injections has worn off, and now I am feeling an improvement in my symptoms. The burning in my prostate has gone away for now, which is an amazing relief. This is the first time in nearly one year. I was literally smiling all day.

I don't have my hopes up though.

That's the steroids working. Use the break in symptoms to try to reset the nerves in the pelvis. Concentrate on relaxation.

Orang, when did you get your injection from Dr Bahn? It seems from the folks I spoke with is that urine and semen will be bloody after first 2 of 3 recommended injections. I was wondering if you felt Bahn's injection had helped and if you went back?

No I didn't go back.

After the injections I returned back the new Normal (prior to the treatment), which is about 70-80% relieved. Currently I have been on a week long flare-up. it was triggered by masturbating, and maybe my month of Jogging a mile 3 times a week. I have just been taken Ibuprofen 800mg, and that has helped me get by.

The burning pain is always above my pubic bone and in my lower abdomen.
