Has anyone tried ketamine infusion

The Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol helps a little bit but after 10 years the pain is bad to worse than ever before. The options that are possible include a nerve block, spinal implant and ketamine infusion.

I do a bit of physiotherapy on my own as I'd no longer have any physiotherapist who specialises in pelvic floor nearby. That will continue along with these in a hope to control the pain a little bit.

I wonder if anyone has tried ketamine infusion. I did a search on the forum and got links with say that ketamine can increase bladder pain. But that pertains to the illicit use of drug. Probably in ketamine infusion of the drug dosage may be much lower or more controlled press-I do not know

Hey. Joe here, 22 years old and have suffered from CPPS and a load of symptoms for a year and a half. I am improving though and that's important.

One of my greatest reliefs was from doing a bunch of ketamine (I used to do it a lot recreationally) and lying in a sensory deprivation tank. It will definitely help at least a bit!

I've read quite a few good things regarding this treatment's impact on depression and chronic pain. Obviously don't experiment with this drug recreationally, but probably worth speaking to someone at a clinic who provides this treatment to see what they think about the application Re: CPPS

I also consider Ketamin a promising agent in CPPS treatment, especially in torpid cases but generally the doctors are not very willing to do it...

Ketaminewellness centers.com gives you the names of Ketamine treatment centers throughout the U.S. (I don't remember if they list treatment centers outside the U.S.). Since Ketamine is supposed to work for pain and accompanying psychological issues (anxiety, depression) it sounds like the perfect treatment for CPPS.
I start mine next week.

Please update us on how it went and post the dosages and durations if you can! There seems to be a clinic in Madrid and then only the US. I'm considering flying to the US to try. Was quoted $875 a session with three sessions in week 1 and three more in week 2. The whole trip will cost $10,000+, but at least I could stay with family.

Hi guys,

After a few months away, I am back to the forum. This winter and spring have been considerably better than the prior two years'. I am not sure if this relative improvement is a result of the internal treatment I have been doing with the wand I got at the Wise clinic a year ago. Still, I can not say I have achieved the results I expected, as I still struggle a lot with urethra and testicle pain and discomfort, and frequent urination and hesitancy at night, which for me is the worst symptom.

The paradoxical relaxation does not work for me, or any other method of relaxation, for that matter. Actually, I believe that my inability to relax is a the bottom of this disorder... I purchased the DCT course for Pelvic Floor dysfunction, but I gave up pretty soon. It is a really demanding regimen of exercises, and the fact that they don't consider trigger points seems iffy to me.

Anyway, I just found that there is a new Ketamine therapy clinic in my area, and I wonder whether someone has tried it for CPPS. I know this topic has been discussed here before, but I don't find that anyone reported back their results after having had the infusions. I have been doing some research on psychedelic therapies (MMDA, Igobaine,etc), and I do think it's worth a shot, given the psychosomatic nature of the disorder.
