Frequent urination

Question. Is it better to hold it in as long as you can to retrain your bladder or better to go when you feel the need. I read that holding it in is bad for the pelvic floor muscles.

Depends if you have overactive bladder or not. If you are going all the time, retraining may be advised. If not, go when nature calls

Flomax question. Started taking Flomax for frequency. My Dr says Flomax works right away, I have also read it could take two weeks to a month to work. Also, is Flomax the best for frequency since it's designed to make you more often. Any advice would be appreciated.

Flomax is not really a medicine for frequency unless you also have BPH. But it's a benign drug so no harm in trying it for 30-60 days. If no improvement by then, quit.

I had CPPS about 5 years ago and got it into remission with Elavil, but now it's back.

How do I find a PT in my area that does internal Trigger Point Therapy and knows what CPPS is.
