Ashwagandha root!!!

Post by MajorSky1 »

I've been taking Ashwagandha root capsules for over two weeks and I have to tell you - IT'S AMAZING!
If you have anxiety-related pain, I highly recommend trying it. The recommended is 3 capsules a day, but I do 2, one in morning and one in evening.
I started noticing a difference on day 2 or 3.

Since I started taking it, I have had NO panicky feelings, and my pain has been from 99.98% to 100% gone!!! I have tried many things - but nothing has worked as well as this stuff. I've even had some stressful days, and yet no pain or panic.

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen. I helps your body adapt to stress. The plant is in the tomato family. I was skeptical, but now I'm completely convinced. I sound like a commercial, but I'm just so blown away that I had to share.

I'm not sure if it would work for anyone who is in the middle of major pain flares, but it may be worth a try.

No side effects.
Age: 49| Onset Age: 47| Symptoms: Pain locations: Intermittent left and right front pelvic floor lateral to urethra; occasionally left side tailbone pain (rarer); left spermatic chord pain (become rare); Post BM-Pain helped by distraction during Bowel Movement.| Current meds: None. Helped by: deep breathing, mediation, hiking, distractions, exercise. Approximately 98% improved, varying depending on stress levels.

Ashwagandha —scientific name Withania somnifera — leaves are even richer in active ingredients than the root.

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

With herbs it's almost a divine thing. You must not expect anything, but believe deep within it's helping you, because it is. It takes time to notice but is worth it, we can't cure this disorder, but we can heal.

I even gather my herbs from the wild to to have a deeper connection. I'm also using Motherwort right now, which I found yesterday hunting through the woods.

I've died, and became alive. I've been in pain for almost a year and a half nonstop, but I now live life overpowering the pain, with the sunshine from smiles, and moonlight from my sorrows. It now shows in my being, I'm content in hell.

I had a group of friends laugh at me recently. They kept going on about how I'm always positive. To the point they thought I physically could not frown.
This got to me deep. I'm at all times in considerable amount of pain. But I've became so strong that everyone with healthy bodies looks at me as if I was Buddha like, I'm not just saying that. My energy is POWERFUL now. I no longer fear ANYTHING! I've already won this battle.

I just smile, as I help others. Selflessly letting a force guide me to a place beyond.

Pretty deep! I'm glad you have a more positive outlook on life.

I'm sorry you are in such pain. I've noticed a lot of people with this condition experience pretty bad pain. I guess I was one of the lucky one who has very mild pain.. :/ But it could be the herbal stuff I've been taking, keeping it from getting too bad.

I hope to one day get that positive mindset too.. This whole thing just started for me a month ago and still trying to come to terms with it. :(

Took me over a year and a half. I'm about 80% percent better now, thanks to lots of PT, and treating my body as best as I can. Including limiting synthetic drugs preferred over herbals to help my body heal, other then loading it up with stuff that covers the symptoms (barely) while being hard for my body process. The best way to treat this in my opinion is as lightly as possible, like for example I use at times just half an aspirin combined with herbs that release tension, like Valerion root, Skullcap, cramp bark, passion flower, just a few, (I use mostly tinctures btw. ) It's all about time and that mental battle, PT is vital too. Don't overload on synthetics like I did when it gets really bad, I wrecked my body because of my desperation, I would prolly be fully better by now if it wasn't for the SINthetics, and no I'm not religious lol, just divine as hell. Haha. Hope the best to you on your journey! It takes time but you will be better! Oh btw, good old cannabis is the MOST helpful plant for the mind battle, and helps so much with sleep, and pain also. It's pure evil they keep it from us. Hope this helps, love you all!

Well it's been about a week or so using Ashwagandha and I think it's safe for me to say that it's been working for me. If any thing it helps with my stress which make me feels completely symptom free. So I think it gets my vote! :)

Just checking in here. Had a very stressful week last week and of course some anxiety and pain, despite the Ashwa-root. Most research says to take it in seasons - so that means not for more than one to three months at a time. I stopped taking it for now, but may resume later.

Last week I started to get some really bad knots in my right inner thigh (adductors, pectineus, etc.) some of which was connective tissue tightness. I had begun running outside again, and still doing some treadmill running as well, and each time those knots seemed to get worse and more sore. Not sure if it's a side-effect of the Ashwa-root, or maybe just stress manifesting. Started to feel like it wasn't helping anymore (but maybe it still was). I definitely felt better on the Ashwa-root for about three weeks, but now I'm testing to see if there are any effects from quitting it cold. Haven't really noticed too much. I think outside stress will get ya, no matter what.

PF and left epididymal pain has been up for a few days now. Been waking up feeling awful for a few days now, which I had before I started Ashwa, but seemed to go away for a couple weeks after taking it.

Still meditating, and trying to get on a regimen of running at least 4 days a week, and losing about 10 pounds.
