New Drugs

Post by james-d »

I was reviewing the "new drugs" section of the cp.com site and was curious if there is any new information for any of those listed drugs yet. Some of them sound quite promising (e.g. ml-04) and I notice some of the information is a little old. Is that due to the fact that a nw drug just takes so freaking long to approve that the news changes slowly?

Its a shame that these new drugs are not made available to people with a "buyer-beware" warning while they are in development - I think many people would try them therby showing them to be safe and effective - or dangerous and ill advised. That may sound silly - but I think desparate people are more than happy to sign up to be guinnea pigs for a chance of improvement.

Any thoughts?

The new drugs information was supplied to me by a kind reader. It is not my own research. That individual has not updated me with new information about these drugs. I will react when someone lets me know more about them.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Thanks - I wasn't being critical - I was just curious.

It just seems that the future of our problem may lie in that arena somwhere hidden in some nerds lab.

There has been no mention I believe in the Forum that once-daily Uro-Xatral from Sanofi/SkyePharma was approved June 16 by the FDA.

Once labelling discussions are completed and manufacturing and distribution take place it will be available in the US.

The Europeans have had this one a while.

It is a selective alpha blocker like Flomax, but I have read it doesn't have the retrograde ejaculation side effect profile of Flomax.

....I digress...but.....Speaking of Flomax to help with flow and frequency, are there any non prescription drug remedies to decrease frequency that anyone is aware of? ie supplements or OTC meds? I am weary of having to take yet more prescribed medications.

Thanks
