I am wondering if anyone has tried this? I have historically had a bad diet and mostly ate/drank red meat, white meat, sea food, white starches, soda, juice, products with salt/sodium, fast food, microwavable food, foods high in preservatives, caffeine (coffee, energy drinks, yerba mate), and sweets. I rarely if ever bought any produce when I went to the grocery store. At most maybe a salad for lunch every once in a while and I would buy bananas when my leg cramped. Most of the time the bananas I bought went bad and I had to toss them out.
About a month ago a friend of mine gave me his juicer machine. Watching him use a juicer and seeing the whole process was interesting. So I initially started juicing fruit with maybe a carrot thrown in. Making drinks that include pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, oranges, and carrots. I would get this crazy high from drinking 16-24 oz. of it as a serving. I would never eat that much fruit for any reason. I went a little overboard and bought large amounts of fruit when I went shopping (probably the amount I would buy in a year) just to experiment. I noticed a negative side effect pretty quickly from this type of juicing. I put on a few pounds rather quickly which could only be attributed to the juicing. I found out that I was getting large amounts of fructose sugar at once and I was getting high off the sugar. The juicing process removes the fiber from the final product so you digest the vitamins/minerals very quickly. The bad thing is all that sugar just gets converted to fat and I was making these as dessert drinks. I would juice late at night and just pass out, not giving my body the chance to burn off the calories.
I did this for about 2 weeks then started to incorporate veggies into the mix. This is when things really started to move into a better direction. I did some research and bought things like kale, cabbage, red beets and then incorporated cucumbers, spinach, broccoli, and celery into my recipes. For fruit I made sure to buy apples, pears, lemons, and limes. In addition I even juice ginger roots and garlic. These drinks seemed more balanced and I did not have that crazy sugar rush I did when I only juiced sweet fruits. The greens made me feel like I have more mental clarity and seemed to lower my depression a little bit. After about a week of doing this daily I started to feel a positive effect on my CPPS symptoms. I have tried the broccoli treatment suggested on this site's homepage and that has helped in the past. I know that I am getting high amounts of quercetin when I drink the boiled broccoli broth. Juicing seems to have a similar effect as this but I actually even like it more. This radical change in my diet has helped alleviate some of my symptoms. I feel like I am unlocking more and more trigger points and continuously finding new areas that need attention. I have a lot of referred pain when it comes to my CPPS symptoms. The referred pain (e.g. trigger points in spine, stomach, chest, armpit, jaw, core, feet, knee, etc.) are often as intense and annoying as those in my pelvic region.
Not sure if this activity would help anyone here but thought I would suggest it as a supplement to your treatment. It is possible that the large quantities of fruits and vegetables in my diet could be improving my nutrition and overall health. I read that certain fruits and vegetables have properties that are associated with a reduced risk for cancer due to the antioxidants, are anti-inflammatory, and help reduce allergies. So far I can attest to the one about allergies. Every time I juice my sinuses seem to clear up (I have chronic allergies/asthma and a poor sense of smell. Poor nasal functioning in general. I was a mouth breather for most of my life) and I can breath through my nose more easily. This definitely helps me out more than taking an anti-histamine like claritin which seems to do nothing. Anyways I am going to keep at it and see how I feel 6-12 months down the road.

I agree completely with what you are doing!
For a long time I have had juicing products at the site's Amazon Store:
>link dead
I suggest people watch the movie FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD
One caution: I do not think juicing on a daily basis is necessary. Once a week or a couple of times a month even, is fine. Flooding your body with nutrients could be too much of a good thing (some nutrients are carcinogenic in large quantities).
I also recommend you look into fermented foods, such as Kimchi (kimchee). I eat it daily and love it!

Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
