My Case (please help! )
Hello everyone
I will try to make this as brief and concise as possible. But I also don't want to leave out any details because I believe everything I will say is relevant.
Background: 27 years old, good shape, decent overall health (until this condition took over my body)
From ages 18-25, I suffered many addictions; sex addiction, gambling, drugs, adrenaline. But none were taking a toll on me physically (or so I thought). At least not enough for me to care or realise that harm was being done. However, I did develop haemorrhoids at age 22, which took over 2 years to clear. Looking back, the haemorrhoids may be linked to my current issue. I'll speak later about this.
I was in effect addicted to the chemicals being produced in my own brain, and so would constantly be searching for that high. I believe my sex addiction led to my current case.
Shortly after my 26th birthday I started getting pains in my lower abdomen after ejaculating. This pain got more severe and more piercing each time I would ejaculate. At that time I was still a sex addict and was not able or willing to control my urges. I kept ejaculating basically until my body could not take it anymore, my abdomen felt like it was going to explode. I was literally incapacitated and could not move out of my bed for 2 days.
At this time is when the harshest symptoms were occurring. I had SEVERE lower back pain. I could not bend down whatsoever. I had a horrible inflated feeling in my abdomen, severe pressure feeling. I developed seminal leakage, where semen was coming out of my penis after urinating and during bowel movements. I developed severe premature ejaculation. I could literally not enter a vagina, I would ejaculate right away after 2 thrusts. This was definitely the low point, and I knew I had to take serious action to find out what was happening.
I started a lot of research online and found out that over-masturbation and over-ejaculating can result in the symptoms that I was experiencing. From very early on I was convinced that my problem was due to that. Over ejaculation also drains the body of important nutrients, and I was not letting my body regenerate before indulging again. I was ejaculating upwards of 50 times per month over many years.
After my self diagnosis, I tried to follow the remedies advised. I cut down all sexual activity to the best I could, I ordered thousands of dollars worth of herbal supplements. The forum I had joined also strongly suggested ordering blood and urine tests to determine if I had hormonal and neurotransmitter imbalances. I was skeptical about this so I did not do it at first.
4 or 5 months passed and I finally decided to see a urologist as my symptoms were improving slowly but I was still very much in pain. It took another 2 months to finally see the Uro, and another month after that for all the tests to get done and a diagnosis to be given. I had a transrectal ultrasound, pelvic and abdominal ultrasounds, blood tests, urine cultures, semen analysis. They said that my prostate was very swollen and tender, that there "definitely" was an infection, but no bacteria growth. (can anyone clarify this for me? is this bacterial prostatitis or non bacterial then?).
He said I had the prostate of a 60 year old male.
I never had any burning, any blood, any huge difficulty passing urine. However there was frequent urination and urgency developing over time, and now more recently, I am waking up every nite to go pee. The semen leakage, lower back pain is gone. I am still uncomfortable in my pelvic region all the time, I am sure my prostate is still swollen. The premature ejaculation has improved a little. I am able to f*ck my girlfriend properly at least for the first time in 10 months. There is little to no pain after I ejaculate now, only the same odd sensation of pressure, which passes after a few hours or a day after sex.
So that's where I am today.
Now recently, I am thinking my issue could be the whole pelvic floor muscles thing.
It makes sense to me. I mean, the case is non bacterial (I should add that I took Cipro and Ofloxacin for 6 weeks combined- nothing changed). I had no UTI or no STD.
The excessive ejaculations were horrible for my muscles I am learning. But why is my prostate itself inflamed? Could be I just irritated it so much. Also after the haemorrhoids cleared, I felt myself always having to push really hard to pass gas, this also was probably bad for my pelvic muscles.
Other things I should mention: I finally did get the neuros and blood hormone tests. I will get the results and post them here shortly, but basically they found high DHT, normal Test, normal Sex hormone, high excitatory neuros, high histamine.
There are probably more relevant details but this is long already! Please read it all and please help! Lets help each other please!

Elements of OCD, which puts you into the anxiety spectrum disorder category (fairly typical for this patient group).charlie222 wrote:From ages 18-25, I suffered many addictions; sex addiction, gambling, drugs, adrenaline.
A long-standing, bad case could definitely be the trigger. That, along with the obsessive masturbation you report, would set you up for the condition.haemorrhoids may be linked to my current issue.
There is so much nonsense and misinformation talked about the prostate, including the misinformation spread by urologists, that I would ignore these comments. Basically, they identified some inflammation in the prostate, that's all you need to take away from what they said. They said that my prostate was very swollen and tender, that there "definitely" was an infection, but no bacteria growth. (can anyone clarify this for me? is this bacterial prostatitis or non bacterial then?). He said I had the prostate of a 60 year old male.
Please read this page carefully, especially the part called "Relationship to Inflammation"But why is my prostate itself inflamed?

Vitamin C in big doses (1000mg+) will lower blood histamine.high histamine.

Thanks for the reply.
Where is the best way to learn all the exercises, stretches, trigger point therapy, all that stuff? I think for sure my nerves are all damaged.

Yes. You have to stop stimulating them. Read the book before proceeding.

As I was reading about the compulsive M, I felt very guilty as I had an issue with that over the years. I don't know how it contributed to my condition and I suspect there's a connection. I know you can't turn back the clock but I wish I knew then what I know now.

Hey everyone,
So not much has changed. In fact sometimes I feel like things have gotten worse. Some days are ok, other days are horrible.
I still wake up twice a night with serious discomfort and urgency to pee, only to pee very little or nothing at all and try to cry myself back to sleep.
I've tried the trigger point stuff, doesnt seem to help much. Dont know what to do anymore. Falling back into depression again

Keep your chin up Charlie - try to start managing your anxiety and to accept that discomfort will rise and fall. I have lived with this for years; its never easy, but you will get better. The advice on this forum is invaluable, but you need to pick out and try things to see what works for you.

@charlie222:
I feel you bro, I also thought my problems are biochemical. I read all that shit from "Dr. Lin" and his website, about overmasturbation and sexual exhaustion. That stuff sounds like its the answer to all your questions if you where guilty of compulsive masturbation/sex addiction and as a result developed those kind of symptoms, but in the end the whole theory is bonkers. Its not scientific.
I guess there is something like overmasturbation, but the result is just this: CPPS. Chronically tense pelvic muscles, irritated nerves, tissue and organs in the pelvic region, because you abused your body for too long.
When you have this addiction to masturbation you probably used to tense up significantly, or start to force a erection again, shortly after ejaculation. Its not what sex should be: relaxed, enjoyable. Its this nervous rush for ejaculation, because like you correctly said, its basically a addiction to the chemicals your body releases after ejaculation.
So I guess what happens after all those years of abuse is the tissue gets more and more inflamed and unhealthy.
And let me tell you, it takes A HUGE commitment to heal it. Its not a easy road. Time and abstinence my relieve symptoms. But as soon as you have sex again, it will start again.
Only way is:
1. Read the book
2. Change your lifestyle (no porn, no masturbation when you have symptoms, regular sleep schedule, regular sport)
3. Get professional help (Physical therapist to help you identify triggerpoint, posture problems and areas of muscles tension; Psychological help for anxiety/OCD, etcs.)
4. Do daily stretches and self-massage, foam-roller, etc. RELIGIOUSLY.
5. Give yourself time, A LOT OF TIME. It can easily take 2-3 years to really get out of this hell. Think Nietzsche:
"From the military school of life - What does not kill me, makes me stronger."

Re: My Case (please help! )
Thank you for the words of encouragement.
In fact I was hoping with time that it will kind of take care of itself. Since the outset I started changing my lifestyle and things got better but the prostate inflammation is still there and I don't understand why.
The area below my belly button is visible swollen, its like a bulge and is definitely abnormal.
One thing I would like to know, does the inflammation of nerves and muscles in my pelvic area cause hyperplasia or hypertrophy?
Because it is a fact that my prostate either has one or the other. (multiplication of cells causing enlargement vs cells increasing in size causing enlargement) and I will get the results from my past uro to find out which one it is.
But whichever one, I would like to know if the theory of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome still holds true when its a known fact that there is hyperplasia/hypertrophy

Re: My Case (please help! )
Well thats exactly the thing. What causes the prostate to grow? Its either the increase in cells or the increase in cell size within the gland.
So webslave do you know the answer to my question? Can all the damage and stress I did to my pelvic region cause hypertrophy of my prostate?

Re: My Case (please help! )
I can assure you that the "bulge" below your belly button is not caused by your prostate! Even a hugely hypertrophic gland in an old man does not do this. Most likely you have some IBS that is causing bloating.

And where are you basing this from webslave?
I am 99% certain that my prostate is pushing up against my bladder and it is in fact my bladder causing the bulge in my abdomen.
