Webslave, thanks for the reply. I got some info about Urispas on the forum. The doc said to take the med 3 times a day after food. I feel that kind of dosage might be high. I am seeing him again tomorrow and will ask him about the dosage but from the guys who have used it, whats the recommended dosage?

The recommended dosage is one or two 100 mg tablets 3 or 4 times a day. With improvement of symptoms, the dose may be reduced. So don't take more than 8 tablets a day, tops, with 3 a day being a conservative dose.

Folks,
Wanted to get some suggestions for natural antispasmodic supplements. The only one I could find is Magnesium and Valerian Root. I always thought the latter was for sleep disorder and general anxiety.

Anyways, I would appreciate suggestions from folks here.

The top natural antispasmodic supplement (although I dislike the term "natural supplements," as many aren't chemicals produced by the body in the first place) is peppermint oil, at least for irritable bowel syndrome. What are you trying to treat, exactly?
Age: 26 | Onset Age: 23 | Symptoms: Neuropathic-like pain and hyperalgesia (lateral/anterior thighs mostly, but distributed throughout body); Pain (penis shaft, right side, when erect for long or excess masturbation) | Previous Symptoms: Pain (testicles; penis underside, mostly near base and running up urethra, sharp/burning; perennial region, dull; ejaculatory; post-ejaculatory); Urinary (moderate incomplete voiding; moderate frequency and pain on bladder filling); Sensations (cold in head of penis) | Helped By: Stretching (especially hip rotators and flexors); Yoga (especially lunges, warrior 2, and pigeon) Trigger point release (abdominals; iliopsoas; gluteus muscles and piriformis; bulbospongiosus & ischiocavernosus; thigh adductors); Meditation (mindfulness); Walking & Aerobic Exercise | Worsened By: Stress, anxiety, too much alcohol, lack of sleep, sitting at length | Current prescriptions: nortriptyline (10 mg, 1x at night; for CNS sensitization and IBS) Previous prescriptions: hydroxyzine (10 mg, 1x at night; for urinary symptoms/mast cell stabilization; useful), clonazepam (0.25-0.5 mg, 1x at night; for anxiety/CNS sensitization; useful for short time)

Well, I may have used the wrong term anti-spasmodic; muscle relaxants do as well! Anyways, I am looking for some supplements which can do what Baclofen does. It did give me a lot of relief which led to breakage of my cycle back in 2010 and put me on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, my symptoms have revived, especially after bowel movement which leads me to believe that possible spasms after bowel movement is being transmitted due to cross-nerve talk and flaring up my urinary urge.

If bowel movements are the issue, then peppermint oil might be helpful. Make sure to get enteric-coated capsules so it can reach your intestines before being released.

Hi folks,
Just have a quick question. This is for a friend actually. He has symptoms of pelvic pain and now shoulder issue as well.

He is on amitriptyline meds (10mg per day) and he wanted to try Relaxall supplements with Phenibut for the above. Just wanted to find if anyone here knows about possible drug interaction of the above two and is it safe to take both of them together?

Thx in advance,
