New - what to Start?
Hey all Bout 4 years ago, I ejaculated, and my right testicle hurt so bad, I could hardly walk. After that I felt like I had to pee all the time. Went to the Doc then to the Urologist. They said all my test where negative and could stick a camera in me, and I was like heck NO!!!
So I decided to live on. Don't know when or how but the all the pain and urge left me. But it left me for about 3 years. Maybe a few bad days but nothing too big.
Until about 2 months ago, I started getting up to go 4 plus times a night. And now when I sit I feel the urge to go as well. Its all a feeling in the penis more so than the bladder??? When I'm up and walking around I feel pretty good, but lately thinking about it makes it worse. So I decided to go to the Urologist and had all the test done, even a CI or CT scan? All negative. So I'm now on Levaquin, with no improvements. Being treated for Prostatitis. Does this sound like Prostatitis?
Going to order the book everyone says helps them out, also been taking Super Vitamin B complex, Zinc, and Ester-c... Do those help and how long for some sort of result?...
What helps you guys??? Or cured you guys??? And what do you think someone should start off trying??? Does anyone have a supplement that may help the urge to go so much or take the feeling out of the penis?... Bout to order the Wise protocol book think it is the sixth edition... Does it show how to do the stretches??? Hope to hear from someone THANKS.

Re: New - what to Start?
Donknuckles,
Carl's starter list is excellent. I (and most guys with this conditon) was also initially diagnosed with "prostatitis" and prescribed levaquin. You do not have a bacterial infection and the levaquin will not help you. There is likely nothing wrong with your prostate. The HITP book will explain everything you need to know about male pelvic pain. There are no quick fixes, and your mental state will influence your pain and so you will need to learn some relaxation techniques. You will also likely need to find a PT who works with the pelvic floor, both internally and externally, so that you can identify the problem areas and treat them. The condition is treatable. I've been in treatment for almost 6 months and have experienced improvements, and there are people on this forum who have become pain free.

Ok... If its a muscle problem why get any accredited quercetin product if it's not a prostate problem. Just trying to understand. I did take some anxiety pills today and felt pretty normal, could be stress? But still felt I had to go a little when I sat down although the mess got my mind off it. Just trying to understand. And thanks for the reply

It's a nerve-muscle problem, and nerves do a funny thing called "cross-talk", in which one set of nerves (going to hyperirritable pelvic muscle) communicate to another set of nerves (going to the genitourinary system) and cause problems. Please read https://ucpps.men/chronic-prostatitis-is-a-psychoneuromuscular-conditionIf its a muscle problem why get any accredited quercetin product if it's not a prostate problem

Re: New - what to Start?
Also I was ready post on trigger points... So I started rubbing on the muscles on the top of my bladder right above my penis... And on the right side I felt immediate pain... So I rubbed it and massaged it. Don't know if it's a trigger point or I rubbed it into the bone? At any rate it still hurts like hell if I touch that muscle? Put some icy hot on it last nigh... But is still tender to the touch. Trigger point??? Should I keep rubbing it? When it first happened almost instant pain... Tried to rub even harder on the left side but never got any pain. Hopefully I found a trigger point? Guess I'll keep putting pressure on it till the pain goes away. Oh yeah I woke up last night and I felt like cramping in that area, and it was different from a cramp or pain that you get when you have to have a bad poop. Crazy... Just ready things on this site and trying to imply them. Sound like a trigger point? Or might of over massaged the muscle into the bone really can't tell. Thanks again. And love the positive vibes I get from this site. It really helps.

Re: New - what to Start?
All I can say is that any accredited quercetin product did not help me, but it apparently helps some people. Try it for a couple of months and decide for yourself.
As for abdominal trigger points, here is one thing you can try: Buy a training softball (rubber, spongy ball). Lie face down and place the ball in the area of your abdomen. Very gently apply pressure to the abs with the ball by laying on it. Start just below the belly button and slowly roll to the base of the penis. Repeat this on both left and right of centerline. Go slow and be gentle. If you feel a sharp sensation, you've probably hit a trigger point. You can apply pressure (be gentle at first) for 30 - 90 seconds. If the pressure either refers pain to your genitals or relieves pain, then you've definitely hit a trigger point.
Of course, it's always a good idea to find a PT or massage therapist who understands trigger points to help you locate these and treat them.

Call the number at the top of this page for free samples. As for them helping people, that's been proved in published studies, and there are lots of confirmatory stories in the relevant subforum here. Zinc pills, if I were taking a Quercetin suppliers product that contains zinc, I would not also take a zinc supplement.

Re: New - what to Start?
I was on there site and didn't see one testimony. So I was just a little sceptical. I know it may not help everyone. And I've read somewhere there are a lot of sites selling products like that, and they are basically just fake pills. Always someone trying to take someone's money. The thought came to mind that, what if this site is tied to far labs to make money? Just a thought. I surely hope not. I was just shocked that there wasn't any testimonies on there site. I know there is a lot of positives here and that gives me hope. I will give it a try. I think I read it takes about three months for any effects, I hope to see results. Thanks again.

Re: New - what to Start?
The big Q did jack for me, tried them all, still had it the same as always. I tried a lot of these early days in hope. I have heard men say any accredited quercetin product works, but sadly I was not one of them (some of its theories are sound enough; it is not a made up joke). It is worth a try.
I think your better reading the Wise-Anderson Protocol book before you make more investment in treatments which are very expensive. The book is cheap and once you have read it you can decide what next from there. While you read the book research mast cells and your diet. Take a look through all the meds your on see if any mess with the pelvic region. Then decide what next. However be 100% the Uro can't find something to fix first as it would be really dumb if you had a stricture or something simple like that.
I have had times when it went away for long periods to almost nothing but it keeps coming back and flaring. You get to a point you live with it. You learn what flares it and you avoid that. You try some meds you see what works and you use them. You change the way you live Wise-Anderson Protocol style and you eat better take exercise etc. You can cage this if you try hard enough.
Cure I have never heard of in all my time with this. However Wise-Anderson Protocol has been stunningly helpful in many cases that I do know and many of them are fine but they do need to live in a way to not encourage flares and to keep from getting into bad pelvic practices again.
If your 100% cured please correct me but I doubt that will happen. ;)

A structure... That's not simple. The only way to help that is surgery. Now I'm worried I might have a structure. What are the symptoms of that?

Re: New - what to Start?
A stricture not a structure. In uro terms it is look here: https://ucpps.men/prostatitis-cystoscopies-and-urethral-strictures this is not a big deal and they deal with them daily. You need to read every page on ucpps.men this is very important with pelvic pain as there is a lot of causes of pelvic pain it is not just all Wise-Anderson Protocol.
I only mention it as you said no to a scope no other reason not to worry you! That is what the scope is for. If you did urinalysis though (peeing into a sensor) and your uro was happy on that your probably clear of one.
I have had a couple scopes they are nothing. I was fine a day later.
Believe me this is much better than chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome to have! You can be 100% cured of pelvic pain in days is this is your problem and yes that compared to chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is simple.
How do you get them. Injury usually.

Re: New - what to Start?
I have to pee in something my next visit to test my urine flow and I have to drink a lot of water. But know I'm kinda scared, that scope scared me, man. Like I said tho I'd been pretty good for about 3 years but you never know. When he showed me that camera, I was like how the hell is that gonna fit in there. The symptoms for a stricture. Are kinda the same? And this kinda just flared up on me, I can remember a few months ago. No probs. If it comes to it, I would do it this time tho.

Re: New - what to Start?
Yeah they want to check your urine flow (urinalysis), that is what they are looking for in you then.
I know it is scary but when they do the urinalysis test if your uro says "Look, I think you got a stricture, I gotta go in", you need to think about it. If he goes in and there is nothing, well at least you can say "Well that one is off the list". While he is in, he will look at your bladder for IC also etc. So a lot of conditions knocked off by it. That is why they do it, not to hurt you.
Need some support? Post away, but get all your Uro workup done, and get to a 100% diagnosis. If it is chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome then read Wise-Anderson Protocol, then go from there. It seems to me you are not 100% sure yet that you have CPPS. You have to be 100% sure, and that is done by your urologist workup, so you have to unfortunately keep going with it. I know it is tough but hang in there. Once you get chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome there are lots of things that help people control this! I had it go away for over 6 years more or less. So you can beat it!
