I've have what I thought was a cold for a few months now. I'm definitely thinking its a sinus infection so the doctor called in antibiotics and a decongestant. I know not to do the decongestant but there's no harm in the antibiotics right. I have been doing everything possible for getting over chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome and I just don't want to screw things up.

If you have a sinus infection, I have a surefire way of getting rid of it.

Incidentally, avoid decongestants. Tell the MD it's contraindicated for CP/CPPS. Ask for a mucolytic instead, eg Guiafenesin. The antibiotics could be useful for sinusitis, so take those.

Thanks a lot Webslave!! I am going to do it and will be sure to let you know how it goes. Hopefully I haven't waited too long thinking my body would take care of it but now its moved into my ears and even my teeth have been hurting.
