I have studied trauma for over a year now and have found that my traumatic coupling is arousal and anxiety (coupled during a traumatic sexual episode). I am writing this simply to pass on my research and point some in the right direction.
Traumatic coupling is quite common and one should consider this as a possible diagnosis. There are some ways to approach this.
