Immunomax therapy to obtain relief in prostatitis

Post by Atari »

I found this when googling on Internet. I don't think it has been posted here before.

Immunomax therapy to obtain relief in papilloma virus infections, prostatitis, and prostate carcinoma

[admin note: this is not a peer-reviewed study. It is not indexed in Medline (Pubmed). It appears in a journal that publishes "industry and product news". It should be regarded as little more than an advertisement.]
Age: 35 | Onset Age: 34 | Symptoms: | Helped By: SWT, trigger point therapy from a qualified naprapath, Tryptizol, squatting, yoga stretching. | Worsened By: Stress, not sleeping enough, sitting all day, hard workout, eating sugar and carbs in general. I'm now about 70% better with a LCHF-diet!

Have anyone on the board tried Immunomax for Prostatitis?

From the abstract:
Patients with chronic prostatitis responded with a significant reduction of leukocytes in exprimate urine, and an increase in quality-of-life as determined by the NIH-CPSI. In case reports on prostate carcinoma, patients responded well to the treatment with a long lasting reduction in prostate-specific antigen. All patients tolerated Immunomax® treatment well without any allergic or undesirable reactions.
The source where the abstract have been published raise questions about its reliability. Anyhow, I find the abstract interesting. I will make a search and see if I can find the article in full length.

The price for 3 units of Immunomax is about 60-73$.

I received this when mailing with one of the authors of the abstract:

"This is a research project with a russian partner in which we perform basic research mostly in cell cultures on the mechanism of action. The drug is registered in Russia for clinical use and can be obtained by international pharmacies. All informations, also literature, should be on the russian homepage www.immunomax.ru.

Atari,
I read your signature and the diet part is interesting. I have eaten low carb high fat for a few years now, and before that I was moderate carb for several years. I usually avoid the big illnesses and don't get many colds. At the beginning, I kept thinking my healthy diet would help me heal quickly. No such luck. However, whenever I eat high carb, I feel worse. So I'm not doubting LCHF as the best diet, but I'm not experiencing the improvements from it like you have.

Cheers.
