Re: bladder and feet?

Post by extreme3 »

Haven't been on the board for awhile, but had to reply to this.

For me, yes, there is definitely a connection between the pelvic pain and burning on the soles of the feet. I haven't found anything that relieves it, but can assure you that as you heal, it will fade as well.

success question

Post by GARYS »

I am going to the clinic later this month and I have been reading from the success stories a lot lately because it helps my mind but I am curious why most of the success stories about the wise anderson protocol are mostly from back in 2004. Just curious. Anyone else going to be there this month?

I've been lazy about moving the more recent success stories into those forums. Sorry.

Hi Gary - glad to hear you're going to the clinic - it certainly met my expectations and it would be interesting if you could post your experiences too.

Have a good trip over.

Cheers
Richard.

Thanks, Richard! I definitely will. Gotta say I'm very nervous since it feels to me like my last option. I'm praying my future post willing read "I wish I went 15 years ago"!!

I think it will - the trick will be continuing the methodology/treatment when you get back home when the pressures of life compete for your time - but the week across at the clinic should show you what's possible and I learned so much about self treatment that I didn't know before.

doing protocol and diarrhea

Post by GARYS »

Anyone know or had the same experience, I have had tight pelvic muscles for 15+ years. I have been doing the entire protocol for about 10 days and lately I have gotten really gassy and having diarrhea. Anyone experience anything similar or know what could be happening.
Thanks

You ate something bad, or that doesn't agree with you? You got a virus? Who knows? Why would you link it to "the protocol" (what protocol?)

Just got back from Dr. Wises clinic. I rarely ever get diarrhea and now its happened a few times. I've also been using a heating pad at night on my abdomen. I'm just curious.

It is good that you are perceptive as to what is happening in your body. Yes Diarrhoea is very much a part of some persons pelvic pain syndrome. It is related to complex factors of feedback from nerves which may be irritated. "Doing protocol" is a vague term so I dont know what you did but it is certainly possible to irritate some nerves. I have clearly had that happen after internal work in the past. This may combine with the Dopamine levels in the brain. In the near term one should avoid Dopamine affecting activities such as any alcohol, caffeine or, yes there is hard science for this, ejaculation.

If any one has any interest I'll copy some of the links to this, though it is 7am on a holiday here in Shanghai.

Diarrhoea is not taken seriously enough. When Diarrhoea persists for more than a few days , then it is not from bad food as the intestines are quite efficient in expelling those type of substances. The problem with ongoing Diarrhoea is that the body is rendered unable to absorb trace elements of minerals such as Selenium or Chromium. This leads to other functional issues in the body.

You are an old hand so I believe you will feel better soon.

Be well,

Robert

Do trigger points have to refer pain?

Post by GARYS »

When I was at the wise anderson clinic we did find several tps but most do not refer or re create my symptoms. I am very tight in some muscles and I am able to find areas in my pelvic floor that are painful and feel restricted. Have a lot of people had the same experience and still been really helped. I'm just in one of those catastrophic thinking modes right now because I woke up with diarrhea this morning and when I got home from work I did my internal treatment and didn't feel like I did anything but irritate things. Could not hitting referral points not mean that much?
Thanks

Trigger points do not all refer pain when pressed.

Your diarrhoea is probably completely unrelated to anything. Catastrophic thinking is a recipe for making no progress.

People routinely can have trigger points which do not refer pain. This can be in any area of the body. This is in the same way that often persons who have no back pain have the same anomalies in their x rays that doctors blame for causing back pain in those with pain.

You have dealt with this for a while so catastrophic thinking is unproductive. If you've made it this far you will be OK.

Be Well,

Robert

Thanks to you both! My catastrophic thinking is really getting me. I can't get it through my head that this will work for me. Tim said I was pretty textbook, but I am having a lot of trouble hitting the same tps. I find a lot of spots in my abdomen and inside my pelvic floor and my thigh muscles are very tight. I have only been home since Wednesday and the guys I talked to were mostly positive and I kept thinking in the back of my mind it may not work for me. Crazy mind!! So if I loosen these areas and muscles they don't need to recreate my symptoms for me to get well right?
Thanks again

Gary, you have made many posts over the years complaining about the mental aspects for you. Have you sought treatment for anxiety?
