Request of help from Italy

Post by Franky_ITA »

Hi, I'm Franky, 22 yo and I'm writing from Italy. I'm suffering chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome for 6 month. All started after 1 month of relation with my first girlfriend, wherewith I had no sex, but only kissing and nothing else. Suprapubic pain, lowback pain, urethral discomfort (first of all) and weak urinary stream were the first symptoms. Firstly I had only sometimes small losing of urine after urination and always small losing of sperm after masturbation, situations that I considered normal (maybe they were not). Here in Italy, except rare case, the urologists' point of view of the problem is the "old prostatocentric vision" or the "nothing left to do". At the first visit, in October 2010, my ani muscles was so tight that the urologist had problem to do rectal exploration. The prostate resulted congested, but in those condition I think that it was normal. All my biological exam (urine, sperm) are negative. I started to take valium in December 2010, feeling a little more better. In January 2011, moving 600 kms, two "Stanford oriented" urologist visited me. The first did me a transrectal ecography during urination. Result: regular prostate in size and form, 15g weight, no inflammation. Ready and regular opening of the bladder neck, regular release of striate sphincter, irregular urination stream (20 ml/s peak and 14 medium but "mountain form" graphic). Diagnosis: Elevator ani spasm. Cure: Clonazepam, Baclofen pills, anal cones and a rectal pomate based on lidocain and Nifedipine. Done for 60 gg but with very little benefits. The second didn't do a urological visit, only riscontrated to me trigger point in elevator ani, and left obturator internus. Result: chronic pain syndrome. Cure: eperisone hydrochloride pills, valium, and alphablocker, internal trigger point release. Not tried Alphablocker. Doing trigger point release moving 600 km every time was impossible for me, so I tried the first solution that I could practice on my own. My actual symptoms are: suprapubic pain (left zone especially), bilateral groin pain, coccygeal pain, low back pain, sometimes hesitation and weak stream, frequency a bit altered (6/7 times a day), sometimes nocturia (one times a week I need to urinate one time at night), sometimes urethral/discomfort pain, and a general sense of tension in pelvic zone. Rare symptoms: perineal pain and rectal pain, I can sit for hours and hours without pain. Ejaculation didn't exacerbate pain and no erectile dysfunction. Now I'm taking only clonazepam and the pain part is a little helped by a physiotherapist that is releasing me some external trigger point (glutes, quadratum lomborm and other). For last the peskier symptom, that makes me crazy: the altered urinal impulsion, now is often a light and not clear sensation about when urinating, and sometimes the bladder is empty. This sensation calms down sitting and is exacerbated when standing up. I suffered IBS in the past, before chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome :?: Thank for your help and advice Franky

Franky, hello. Your symptoms are all frequently discussed here. It sounds like your diagnoses are more or less correct, but the treatments have only been partially applied. Get some sort of wand to do your own internal work. Get a quercetin product. Practice relaxation and meditation. Use the IC Diet.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

I'll ask to my physiotherapist do practice internal massages (in her opinion, I should improve only with external massages, but I think the treatment must be external and internal together), insert objects inside my anus without knowledge about how to them is terrifying IMHO  I'm following an IC diet, but with no result. For example, one month ago I had a dinner with friends eating spicy foods, drinking coke ecc... The day after I was no symptomatic. But I still following this diet when possible (about every day). Quercetin products never tried, but I will. At the moment, I'm trying also relaxation and I'm reading Wise and Anderson book 6th edition. I had a period of my life (about 4/5 years) where every day I had to watch myself from people that could beat me for various reasons, adding this to a lack of self esteem caused from 20/25 kg in excess. Solved this problems, starting living relaxing and enjoying and found a girl... this new present All start with suprapubic pain during excitement during kissing with my ex girlfriend. I have no idea about how it was possible. Maybe I was too much scared or anxious about my male qualities :?: I'm seeing lots of smiling faces that can be used in this forum. So I think escaping this disaster is possible. Thanks for the advice!
